When i first got into magic back in the day i loved huge stupid creatures, such as leviathans. So when i found Quest for ula's temple i was in love. This deck is based around getting Quest out first turn and getting charges as fast as possible. There are as few lands as possible to keep creature count high and keep the odds that you reveal a creature with temple very high. In conjunction with some Scry and libary fixing with halimar, sage, owls etc. that makes the charges come on even faster.I could have stacked on just play sets of only the best leviathans, octopi, serpents, krakens but i felt like it would be more fun to have a large variety.
The way it works is, you need at least 1 land and quest in your first hand. to do this you may have to mulligan down to 2 but as long you can get quest down first turn the rest is pretty self explanatory. use deck fixing (halimar, ponder etc) or Scry to put the deck the way you want it to stack those counters on Quest then finally drop those big bomb at each end step. if need be use whelming to bounce opponent stuff.pretty niche because it loses hard to bounce and or anti enchantment etc but fun.

I like the look of this deck...but is 15 land enough?

i feel like it is based on the fact you should never be hard casting the huge bombs. just enough to cast the owls or ponder to rig the top for ulas. i feel like it is actually beneficial that you only have 15 so you have a higher chance of getting counters on ulas.
