The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

A couple of cheap, big creatures with some evasion and control.

How to Play

Ideal draw is a land, Dark Ritual, and Plunge - dig deep for Death's Shadow and cast. Damage from attacks on turns two and three can finish your opponent, depending on how cavalier you are with your life when casting Plunge. Horror is a good backup starter, using Truth to deal with the tokens. Rift and Strike should help make sure your creatures get through. Many of the lands, along with Sign in Blood, can help bring your life total down for Shadow.

Legacy Players - Do you think this deck is viable in this format or not? Suggestions?

Deck discussion for Shadow Suicide

shadow rift and distortion strike are interesting in this build. i dont like hunted horror though. bouncing the tokens is interesting but probably not worth the effort.
tarnished citadel and underground river are too much. 4 waterygraves might be too much also. i suggest using some more fetch lands instead

8 creatures doesn't feel like enough some delver of secrets and tombstalkers will go a long way

heres what my legacy death's shadow list is looking like currently

Thanks for the feedback. I took a look at your deck and it looks to play quite differently than what I've put together (your deck also looks much more versatile than mine as well).

The Delver of Secrets would probably work well in my deck, considering the amount of instants / sorceries I run. I would be worried about being able to get the Tombstalker out quickly enough, though more fetch lands would help with that. I'll probably keep the Horrors though as I like their potential to kill with three hits. I'll try swapping the AEther Bursts for some Delvers.

I will likely keep Echoing Truth as it is a nice general purpose token sweeper (elves, goblins, etc.).

I worry about losing the pain lands as I sometimes open with a Death's Shadow and no way to effectively lower my life total (though I suppose I could just wait for my opponent to help out with that problem...).

Thanks again.

if you really wanna play hunted horror you could also play a set of stifle. obviously stifle is great for shutting down fetch lands, but it can also counter the CiP ability on hunted horror.
