Deck Description

Reaper King with changelings

I anticipate this being my best Commander deck yet. Spent a long time reviewing each card, and seeing how it will combo with others in the deck. There are some other popular cards excluded from this deck, such as Xenograft and Conspiracy - Conspiracy can mess up other searches (moggcatcher, seahunter, blood speaker and skyshroud poacher). Xenograft wasn't providing much clout during testing, despite being very nice in theory.

Mana comes a little slowly, think I could do with 1 or 2 more, but if there are no major mana blocks, this works fine 9 times out of 10. Mana color does not seem to be a problem, most cards only use 1 of each type, and there are over 20 ways of producing each type of mana.

Using searchy creatures allows inf destroy combo, by championing with changelings while reaper king is in play.

Multiple cards to make changelings indestructible/untargettable and various buffs..

Those are the main things this deck attempts to do.. All comments and suggestions are welcome!

Under the new legendary rule, Rite of Replication targetting reaper king kicked x amount of times (just sacing the tokens keeping the actual reaper king) would be something you may wana look at. destroy x permanents and win later.

Nice idea! That would be 5 destroys for 9 mana... Not gonna put one in, because if this deck reaches 9 mana it usually is nearly at the win, and I dont have a copy! The main issue with this deck is ramping, since it's 5 color. I've included as many any color land as I could to try and compensate, and in multi player games this deck performs well. The way this deck usually wins is getting something like skyshroud poacher, then getting the 3 changling champions to go infinite destroy.

Thanks for the comment!

actually correct me if im wrong, but with Rite of Replication all 5 tokens come in at sametime and would all trigger off each other. That would mean it would destroy 25 permanents.. Then sac all tokens due to legandary rule.

You are not wrong - this would indeed work. The circumstances in which 25 destroys are useful are a bit limited though as I usually play 2 player EDH, so will not be including.

Thanks for the correction though.
