because titans are fun. In play it works pretty well. I see titans on turn 3 quite often. There are enough ways to fetch land that after the first few rounds, when you draw a titan, you can usually meet the mana requirement within a turn. Green Sun's Zenith to find mana (birds or elk) early or primeval titan to find speed up the mana or get specific lands. Also using Brutulizer Exarch to setup your next turn with a specific titan. Haven't figured out the sideboard yet.
