why deprive? i 'm trying to ramp a bit with this deck, so putting land back into my hand isn't too helpful. but halimar depths could be helpful if i'm one turn away from casting Mass Polymorph and there is an Emrakul on top of my library (the mana base needs a bit of work anyway). thanks for the comment

good call! even better with venser's +2 to keep bringing stuff back from the grave!
awesome deck m8! i totally forgot about TIme of Heroes when building this: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=109287
i really like this deck! i have a U/R/W control, and i didn't think about Gideon http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=112534
sorry, meant to add this. the aim of the combo is to get an INFINITE AMOUNT OF MYR GALVANIZERS! it is not to have infinite mana to cast Fireball or something. You just show your opponent how the combo works, then declare how many times you are going to repeat it. then swing at your opponent with all of your 2/2 Myr Galvanizer tokens. as long as the first Myr Galvanzier was on the field before the turn you enchanted it, the token copies won't have summoning sickness!
you don't actually need Pallidium Myr for this combo. this is how it works: 1. You need Myr Galvanizer and Iron Myr OR Silver Myr on the battlefield (we use Foresee, Preordain, Jace's abilities, Riddlesmith and Sea Gate Oracle to find them; Myr Reservoir to get them onto the field (if they had been destroyed/discarded), and to help if we use up our mana ("tap to add 2 to your mana pool" etc......); the counterspells and Lightning Bolt as removal help 'buy us some time' while we assemble the combo. 2. Cast Splinter Twin on you Myr Galvanizer (again, we use our draw power to find this) 3. Tap the Galvanizer for a token copy of itself (we will call this Token 1) 4. Tap your 'mana Myr' (Iron Myr OR Silver Myr!) for mana to use Token 1's abilitiy to untap each other Myr we control (this means our enchanted Galvanzier and our 'mana Myr' are untapped. 5. Go back to step one, and repeat as needed (depending on your opponent's life total, number of blockers etc.)
i wanna keep Venser, but i see your point about Lava Axe. -2 Lava Axe +1 Lightning Bolt +1 Jace 2.0
here's my chicken deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=111828
just finished building a chicken deck of my own, and there are some cards in this deck that i was too stupid to think of putting in my deck (Surge of Zeal, Intruder Alarm, fucking DOOR OF DESTINIES!!!!). you've built a great deck, but like dknight27 says perhaps add some more changelings- i personally use Mistform creatures.
lol this is just like my RDW....
i love ultra-cheap mono-red decks!!! this is my take on cheap Red Deck Wins: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=108729 still in playtesting but i'm hoping it does well at my local FNM this week! i only had about 28 of these cards, and i only paid $15 for the rest!
should i drop Journey to Nowhere and replace with Wall of Omens?
thanks for the tip. i've taken out the 4 Wavewatch.
never played vinatge before, so i playtested this with some proxies against my mate's zoo deck yesterday and it was pretty close- drew 7 consectutive swamp's, down to 6 life, 3x Juzám Djinn (now in the graveyard) and a Hypnotic Specter (also 'buried') did the work early on to put my opponent on 3 and his lack of land + my Nether Void gave me a chance, i drew Hypnotic Specter, then drew Underworld Dreams- hit him with the Specter (1 life!) then cast Underworld Dreams, he drew a card and lost the game. also just tried this against dredge and won 2-0! going to be trying this against a 'tezzerator' and maybe a control next week. great deck!!!
