The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Multi-player, draw 2, drop 2 (lands) format. I stole the idea of this fun deck from: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/boab/176 Thinking of exchanging Ghoultree's for Bonehoards. UPDATE 4/2/12: Exchanged Ghoultree's for Bonehoards. Spider Spawnings have won many games for me.

I like this build, I bet the reason the spiders win is that your opponents are focused on the other 'stronger' creatures. Splinterfright hasn't shown up much for me either. Do the non-creature spells hold back your graveyard dependent creatures? I think I am going to tweak mine for the FNM crowd and have some fun this Friday. I have focused on minimizing non-creature spells, trying to utilize creatures that perform secondary actions when they die. My latest build is green/red and uses torch fiend, goblin arsonist and furnace scamp. And I added Fling, so I could put that Boneyard Wurm to good use! It has been pretty effective, I use the red creatures to block and ping my opponents creatures, chump blocking with everything once I have enough mana. Normally, I can extend the game to use Cagebreakers, but I have used Fling for lethal damage, which feels awesome! I think the spiders win constantly cuz it takes my opponents (multiplayer is all I play) two board wipes to eliminate them. And that's typically after they blew their load earlier in the game. The non-creatures spells do a good job filling my graveyard with creatures. Gnaw to the Bone has saved me many times when my opponents ignore my creatures and flame me. If I were to make it a duel deck I'd splash it with red as you've done. I love late game Flings!
