Deck Description

Standard budget mana ramp. Because big things quickly and cheaply are fun. (Not meant to be an innuendo)

How to Play

Use the small creatures to summon one of the Hydras. Then use aspect of hydra and hardened scales to finish the job. (Suggestions always welcome.)

Deck discussion for Green Thumb

Eliminate Golden hind. You already have 2 mana ramp sources. (put in 2 Archetype of Endurances and 2 heroes' banes.)
Put in all 4 Aspect of the hydras. Great card in mono green devotion.
Don't put in tusk guard captain, there is only one thing gaining counters and giving it trample instead of another possibly better card isn't worth it. Switch him out for Nylea's Diciple. (Great gain life Creature)

Thank you for your input. One question however. Now that I've added Nylea's Disciple my deck is above my standard 61 (extra land for fun) do you think that this will be a problem?

In order to get the most work done out of your deck, you NEED to be at 60 cards. In my opinion, Naturalize is definitely a sideboard card, not a main deck card. It should be in your deck though. After putting those into your sideboard, you're down to 61 cards. For the extra card, I would consider either getting ride of 1 nylea's disciple, or 1 verdant haven.
