So, basically, this is an article I'm making (kind of inspired by econ mtg) about how Zurgo Helmsmasher is really underrated.
So basically, the reason everyone hates Zurgo is because he's a 7/2, which means that he can be killed by shock. My response to that: "Yes, he can, but honestly, MARDU DOESN'T CARE!" See, that's how Mardu works they attack, and they don't really care if they die as long as the get some damage in. So, with Zurgo, you're still getting in 7 damage for 5 mana, BUT if they block, then he'll become a 8/3, which means that he'll be harder to kill. Then, if they DO take it, that's 7 damage! 7 fricking damage! Also, in order to have burn, you have to play red, and not everyone does. AND, he is only susceptible to burn on opponents' turns, and true, he also is susceptible to removal on opponents' turns, but so are all the other Khans, except for Narset, who has hexproof. Also, you could kill Zurgo with bile blight or stuff like that, but in order to do that, you need to play black... anyway, what I'm saying is, you'll still get in at least 7 damage, and he has indestructible during your turn, so blocking him won't kill him, but if you do kill him on your turn, or bile blight or exile him during your turn, then so what, if you're playing real Mardu, you shouldn't really care. So basically, to sum it up, Zurgo is good in Mardu, and he is pretty good by himself, although he isn't the best Khan, he still is better than a lot of people say
