Sarkan is for being a 4/4 dragon, burn, and card draw, mindswipe is for counterburn, empty the pits is for zombies, winterflame us for tapping opponent's creatures and burn, stormchaser chimera is for scrying into what you need and beefing itself up, bloodsoaked champion is for early game, keranos is for burn and card draw, mogis is for weakening your opponents, and phenax is for mill.
