The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Starter Budget -series is variation of my famous(?) Budget Decks -series.In this series, I attempt to create decks that go great for starters:They do not have extremely valuable or complicated cards. Most of them are simple commons and uncommons.Though, this doesn't mean that these decks aren't threat. In right hands (and some practice, of course,) they can overwhelm very tough opponents. These decks are meant for those who have just dived into the mysterious depths of Magic: The Gathering, or for those people who like simple and cheap decks. Or, to just anyone!Budget is meant to be low! (Less than 15 bucks.)(Remember: If you are new player, do not be afraid to ask if you have questions. Northy has always time for newbies!)
Starter Budget: Golgari tries to teach new players how to be master of life and death among Golgari Swarm. Death makes your opponents weaker, but it makes you much stronger.

I guess starters can understand it. Yeah.
another classic card I can remember when I first started playing.
I'm okay with this deck, but I was wondering: would starters be able to understand self-mill? If so, I would like to suggest the following:1. Satyr Wayfinder/Mulch (mill for land)2. Grisly Salvage (mill for creature or land)3. Elixir of Immortality (recovery against other mills; a great sideboard)Otherwise, I think this deck is solid :)
Grisly Salvage couldn't be too bad.
You might like Bone Splinters for it's low mana cost, and Reassembling Skeleton might be nice for this deck
Reassembling Skeleton it is. Bone Splinters has high risk of going into graveyard, but the Skeleton... It is incredible.Thank you lovechicken.
Sylvan Ranger must be a favorite card of yours.
Actually one of my favourites, yes. It is simple, useful card, which is creature and land search in same package. What's not to love?I have made over ten persons start playing MtG, and when they sometimes wanted me to create deck for them that contained green, I ALWAYS added Sylvan Rangers. I could say that Sylvan Ranger is a green starter's best friend.
