I am attempting to create a new series here on MTG Vault about decks with (usually) 100 dollar budget. Unlike my other decks, I will create these only if asked to do so. Also I would mostly like to create only EDHs around this High Roller concept, but I guess I can sometimes make an exception with it.Probably I won't be creating these decks too often either. This High Roller deck was suggested by willisson7.
Child of Alara takes full advantage of your gods. Whenever the Child dies, everything dies, except your gods. Getting those gods into creatures? Well, that's a bit harder thing, but I guess you'll do well with just those badass enchantments on the field.Remember that you can cast your own kill spells to trigger the Child. Cards like Fling and Dark Betrayal are awesome with the Child.

A few cards you might consider: Might of the Nephilim, Blessing of the Nephilim, or Civic Saber.

Lavalanche, Conflux, and/or All Suns Dawn? Rite of Consumption as another Fling like effect? Expedition Map to search for any land not just basic? Chromatic Lantern for mana ramp and fixing? Love the deck though.
If your plan is to kill Child of Alara to trigger the ability it must enter the graveyard to do so. If you choose to put Child of Alara in the command zone it actually doesn't trigger the ability since putting your commander to the command zone is a 'replacement effect', thus Child of Alara never actually "died" (entered the graveyard). So yeah, you might want to run some reanimation in order to use the ability.
The Gods will actually die along with everything else when Child dies. Child is a global effect, Gods are only protected against being targets.
Incorrect. The definition of Indestructible means immune to destroy effects.

this is more of wtf deck
Hey Northern. If you could take a look at this deck I'm trying to make http://www.mtgvault.com/zeranos/decks/multiheaded-dragon/I am trying to go for a hydra & dragon rainbow edh deck with some token generation (hence why army of the damned is there)having some trouble with some of the lower costing mana creatures for fillers (was possibly thinking of switching to zombies and possibly making a hydra/dragon/zombie R/B/G deck)if you could make any suggestions or even a budget deck --> preferably the rainbow deck but the R/B/G deck fine.inspiration (rainbow) --> who wouldn't fear a dragon/hydra lead armyinspiration (R/B/G) --> while the zombie horde gets killed, the hydras and dragons sweep in and killall opposition
