Deck Description

Friday Budget -series (earlier known as 50 Budget) takes the budget-playing into the next stage. Using cards to build decks with under 50 buck mid-value, Friday Budget -series tries to help you build new decks and use new ideas.
If there is any deck you would like to see as Friday Budget, please, let me know.

How to Play

This completely standard burn deck allows you to electricute and burn everything in your path. Lots of burn spells, lots of creatures that enjoy burn cards...
What else you need?

-Try focus your burn spells mainly to creatures, so your creatures can smash some faces. If you have Satyr Firedancer, then you can always throw the damage at your opponent's face so you can burn their creatures and player at the same time.
-When everything else fails, Anger of the Gods clears the field.

Deck discussion for Friday Budget: Burn Baby, Burn

A great deck for a great price!

Maybe a way to make all your creatures unblockable to swing for the win?

I played a deck like this for a long time and one of my favorite ways to do that was with something like blustersquall. I found that it combos well with the nivix cyclops since it counts as an instant, boosting its power but also lets you get all your creatures in to deal damage while costing less than something like cyclonic rift which allows you to play maybe one or two more shocks or magma jets, further boosting the cyclops power.

Always great to see Burn get some love. And hell, it may find a place in Standard after Retrav rotates out with Fetchlands now a thing for the cheapish.

Except, I would kill myself very quickly with it too.

but with you burning your opponent they should die faster since they get hurt everytime they try to play something in response

There's arguments for both sides. But the pro-Eidolon camp speaks louder with the "But it hurts the enemy more" argument.

Curse of the Swine fits. You can either buff your elementals or turn all their fatties into stuff more manageable kills. So with anger of the gods and battlefield thaumaturge you have a board wipe.

Add one more like from me.
Red/blue decks are just pure out mean...maybe only exceeded by Blue/White Control.

Mind taking a look at this one, Northy?
It could qualify for a Friday Budget deck.

i really like this and i think one thing that could maybe work is skullcrack? ITs better against players than lightning strike and if you have the satyr firedancers, then you can still hit creatures.

I think Skullcrack goes in for a terrific sideboard. Thanks!
