Welcome to the NorthernWarlord's Budget Decks -series!These decks are meant to inspire you and your playgroup to create simple, cheap decks and challenge each other! Can you and your friends find out who can dominate the battlefield by spending as little as possible on your cards? The EDH Budget Decks are a bit different from regular decks. These bad boys have a total of 100 cards in them and are meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander (EDH) format, which is also known as the Commander format. These decks also have a bit higher budget than the regular Budget Decks: their average deck value should be somewhere between 30 and 50 dollars, including the deck's commander.Interested in budget decks or budget EDH decks? Who needs control cards when you've got some big boys? This deck is all about being the man on the table. Whenever someone sees an Azorius EDH deck, they'll be like: "Well, well, looks like we have another Azorius player on board. How are you gonna win, huh? Via stax? Via infinite combo? Via milling?"They will be surprised as soon as the Azorius player starts scraping them off the floor after an awesome assault of huge beatsticks!- Ephara not only grants you card advantage, she also becomes a potent beatstick herself once the devotion is high enough. "Yass! Slay Goddess!"- Use several different mana rocks to accelerate the casting of your huge pals!- Use cards like Aetherize, Aetherspouts and Phyrexian Rebirth to slow down foes!- Your dudes got killed? Worry not! Cards like Defy Death, Miraculous Recovery, Marshal's Anthem and Sigil of the New Dawn will make sure your dudes won't stay dead for long!

Quicksilver gargantuan make everyone a true man! Finally a proper azorius deck. But I see approach of second sun and counterspells, are you sure you are not control? ;)

Approach is there just because it is like the ultimate late-game card: If the beatdown doesn't work, you gotta find some alternatives. I agree that it is not the most manliest card, but it'll do for now.And about counterspells: Those two counterspells also allow the player to drop some big boys easily. The Swindle gives a ton of treasure while the Counterlash allows you to counter a dude, then drop one to the field. :D
Yes I am just joker :P
Saltskitter. One of the best cards for Ephara, since it provides consistent card draw with Ephara's ability.
