Do you want to play EDH? Don't you have an EDH deck? Do you think most of those ready-to-play-decks cost too much for your desires?...Or do you just think you can't figure out a funny idea for your EDH deck?NO MORE!Budget EDH-series is meant for players that want to play EDH.They are playable and their price is low! (Between 25 and 50 bucks.)
Inspired by Xevega.I'm so sorry that this deck became quite a disappointment Xevega. You are supposed to control the play with nasty enchantments, but I'm not too sure that does this deck work properly.Suggestions welcome.

Zur is hard general to run if you want it to be budget AND work.

I COMPLETELY agree.
There's a second component that makes it difficult to make work; simply by playing Zur everyone is going to assume you're running something degenerate (even if you're not) and just archenemy out out anyway.
Still, you managed to make it budget, so I think it's great XDOn another note, what about trying some enchantment creatures? Some good ones to try:1. Aegis of the Gods2. Archetype of Courage3. Brain Maggot4. Eidolon of Countless Battles5. Eidolon of Rhetoric/Spirit of the Labyrinth (these can make enemy of everyone, even more so when you have Zur)6. Flitterstep Eidolon7. Hypnotic Siren8. Nyx-Fleece Ram9. Underworld Coinsmith10. Grim Guardian (great for zur since the opponents will lose one life every time he attacksHave fun with Zur (make enemies out of everyone!!!) XD
I already had several of those, but going to add at least the Archetype.
Huh. I must've missed it. Are they categorized as just enchantments (before I believe they were as enchantment creatures).Or I could be just bad at reading deck lists...sigh...
Don't worry. We all make mistakes.
Awesome! thanks ive been waiting for this from you
My buddy runs this deck, has it all tricked out, and yet the very first card he always searches for with Zur is Vanishing (a 0.20 cent common). Makes Zur the most infuriating commander EVER- nearly impossible to kill, and he gets to keep any auras on him (phasing phases out both zur and all enchantments/ equipments on zur). And one more- since you get to cheat in a spell each turn, it's good to limit everyone else's plays- you get a 2 for one. Arcane laboratory is perfect for that.Wait- one more. It's a 4 drop, but Dissipation field is a fantastic defensive tool as well.I think this is a fantastic foundation for zur- slow the game to a crawl, and pound through that commander damage!
Thanks a lot from suggestions!
