Deck Description

Do you want to play EDH? Don't you have an EDH deck? Do you think most of those ready-to-play-decks cost too much for your desires?
...Or do you just think you can't figure out a funny idea for your EDH deck?
NO MORE!
Budget EDH-series is meant for players that want to play EDH.
They are playable and their price is low! (Between 25 and 50 bucks.)

This specific budget EDH deck was requested by mullethawk.

I'm sorry about my disappearance. A long story short, I had a lot to do and things to work around. Then came down the Christmas and new year, taking a lot of my time. Shortly after was my birthday, which also took its toll.

But yeah, since now I'm back, so I guess I'll start my regular crafting soon enough again.

How to Play

Well, as far as a player needs to know, Karlov is a true gentleman. He is not too huge, too aggressive nor too scary... at start. As the game progresses, Karlov becomes a doomsday machine of complete annihilation.

All the player needs to have for a decent game with Karlov is a lot of cards that produce health-regeneration. Cards like Pontiff of Blight, Nyx-Fleece Ram and Celestial Force are good examples of passive healers. As soon as you get one or more down, Karlov gets gigantic really fast.

Wow, Northy, I woke up this morning thinking "I want a black white lifegain/pain commander deck, I just need to research black white commanders" I see yours and it's weird. Nice deck with a nice idea to it.

Excellent work here! I can easily see this snowballing into a massivie win. +1

I've been tinkering with an old Izzet deck of mine, and I want to make sure it's as good as it's gonna get before I order cards this time. Think you could take a look?

Awesome Work! Although I´d switch "Angeheart Vial" for "Exquisite Blood" because it triggers more often and your life loss mechanics don´t cause damage as far as I know. +1

Please, for the love of soul sisters, find room for Soul Warden and Soul's Attendant.

It's EDH so 1 of each isn't really going to make a huge impact.

Nice deck my friend, I especially approve the name of the deck. This is not quite how I would build Karlov, but this has given me inspiration to build a fully foiled competitive French 1v1 Duel Commander deck with him as the commander. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Oh, and make more decks please!

Nice deck! I've always loved Karlov since his release and its cool to see an edh deck around him. Just a suggestion for another Budget EDH deck, a Uril the Mistalker deck would be cool. I would love to see what you could do with it :P

uriul might sound cool tho, but he is rly boring, i had a deck and it was same thing every game, would not recommend making a deck.

Oblivion Ring, Prison Term and Stasis Snare could be handy here. Anyone have advice for my BU control list? http://www.mtgvault.com/cyberj3/decks/silumgar-control/

You seem to have a lot of single creature kill spells - is this intentional?

Infinite combo is fine if you aren't a d-bag about it. Some EDH games go on so long everyone just wants someone to go infinite so they can start a new game. Exquisite Blood is ten dollars though, which might be why it didn't make it into the budget deck.
