Deck Description

This is only one half of the duel deck. Below is link to the another:

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

Notice to the commentors:
This is a DUEL DECK. That means it is mostly meant to face the other side of it. Try to understand that the card in the deck picture is the "boss-card" of the deck, and like in every duel deck, there is supposed to be only one of those cards.
I also do not like editing duel decks afterwards.

How to Play

The hunting party is moving. Scouts returned three sun-cycles ago telling that there is hairless-ape village nearby. The Hive has been in starvation for weeks, it won't last long at this rate. Newborns born smaller and weaker every day. This must stop. The Hive must feed. It is all about this single assault. They must breach the walls in order to let the Hive survive.

This sliver side of the duel deck attempts to control the game from beginning. Try to get as many slivers as possible before your opponent is able to assemble his/her mob. Strike fearlessly, strike early.

Deck discussion for Budget Duel: Slivers - Humans

Nice story you have on this deck! A great deck, but I would take out the black portions of it because it simply doesn't do enough imo.

Some changes:

1. Take out the any black-colored slivers (Acidic; Darkheart; Siphon; leeching). Replace them with other red/green slivers (Belligerent; Megantic; Blur; Might)
2. I get that this is a duel deck for having the mainboard artifact removal, but I'd replace it with Homing Sliver (search for slivers)
3. Not sure if Savage Twisters are worth it since this is an aggro deck (even if there's black). Maybe fires of yamivaya for haste?

Great deck nevertheless. I always enjoy your duel decks XD

I especially like the storyline! I tried the link for the other to no avail.
Just when I thought it was safe, the Slivers are Back! Its great! I like the synergy of the slivers! You did a good job!

In terms of managing 4 colors, I noticed that green seem to be the baseline color (more forests, manaweft slivers, etc), but the only 1 drop is red and is Striking Sliver. Is it worth it to have 4 Striking Slivers with redundant ability. Maybe drop it to 2 Striking Slivers and increase Manaweft Slivers to 4? For better mana fixing.

At any rate, it looks menacing! The humans better bring it! For some reason Slivers always remind me of Pitch Black (movie with Vin Diesel). Hope the humans fare better here.

Fury Sliver can handle the same problem, and it costs less money. This deck has enough mana ramp to get Fury Sliver easily.

True But I am maining slivers till the 26th when they rotate out of standard, Bonescythe is just one of those slivrs that you try to cram in as much as possible

You Also need M15 Sliver Hive in there, that and 4 manawefts for consistent mana fixing
