Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

Notice to the commentors:
This is a DUEL DECK. That means it is mostly meant to face the other side of it. Try to understand that the card in the deck picture is the "boss-card" of the deck, and like in every duel deck, there is supposed to be only one of those cards.
I also do not like editing duel decks afterwards.

How to Play

"Garruk must be stopped."
It is the only thought that crosses Elspeth's mind. Nothing else matters. She will stop Garruk, or die trying. Even when she is horrified by that monster that once called himself a man. Now? Now Garruk is a hollow monster, his soul captured within his tainted body. His soul must be set free. Elspeth must allow him to rest in peace. Hopefully her battles on Theros gave her enough experience to face Garruk once and for all.
There he is. Just on the other side of that clearing. Suddenly Elspeth hears a loud snap. She has stepped on a dry branch. Immediately Garruk turns his hideous face to take a look at her. It looks like there is no-more escape. Elspeth takes a fighting stance and points Garruk with Godsend.
This is it.

Disturbed - Animal
(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyxrpmD5cq0)

Na-ah, na-ah
NOW!

I can feel the animal inside
My resolve is weakening
Pounding at the doors of my mind
It's nearly overpowering
I cannot begin to describe
The hunger that I feel again
Run if you intend to survive
For the beast is coming to life
Taking form in the glimmer in this tainted moonlight
Death approaches on this night

For the animal's soul is mine
We will be completed right before your eyes
I have no control this time
And now we both shall dine in Hell tonight

I can hear it calling again
The primal need is filling me
Changes are about to begin
And now my blood is boiling
I can see the fear in your eyes
But you can't bring yourself to scream
Time to shed the mortal disguise
For the beast is coming to life
Taking form in the glimmer of this tainted moonlight
Death approaches on this night

For the animal's soul is mine
We will be completed right before your eyes
I have no control this time
And now we both shall dine in Hell tonight

We begin the hunt and I
Feel the power course, as the creatures take flight
For the kill is close and I will be satisfied
For the smell of fear tonight
Wakes an ancient lust that will not be denied
You're mine

For the animal's soul is mine
We will be completed right before your eyes
I have no control this time
And now we both shall dine in Hell tonight

For the animal's soul is mine
And the world around will never hear your cries
An unholy crime
And now we both shall dine in Hell tonight

Deck discussion for Budget Duel: Elspeth - Garruk

Great deck. My only suggestion is replacing Solemn Offering with Intangible Virtue for token buffs (I see that the duel deck has some enchantments, but it's probably better for this deck to focus on not on removing the opponent's buffs, but buffing the ally creatures).

Have fun XD

My only thing would to replace Boros Elite with Front Line Medic. Its not a soldier but the effect would help everything out.

I can add one Frontline Medic. Not too many rares to duel deck, you know...
