Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

This budget-friendly deck FORCES your opponent to block.
If you are starter, you may think:
"But if opponent blocks all my creatures, how do I win?"

The asnwer is really simple. Your opponents may suffer even more if they block than if they let some creatures through. Here are few examples:
-Tangle Asp or Engulfing Slagwurm equipped with Lure is the most devastating combo of this deck. So cruel. So mean. So annoying. So cool.
-Dread Slaver with Deadly Allure is basically that your opponent must give one of their creatures to you.
-Elvish Berserker with Lure can take down a whole army of tokens.

Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Thrill & Kill

Very...al'luring', indeed. Not just that, but the Unicorn can essentially act as a finisher if you have enough creatures out since all other creatures have to block the Unicorn rather than any other creature.

+1 from me :)

Unicorn was originally meant just for that. Nice to hear you got that and you like the deck! Thanks, friend!

YES! You crazy ... this is amazing! So simple, yet so devious!

P.S. Don't you dare put Blood Artist in here =).

Maybe some ramp to get there earlier? Fertile Ground or Utopia Sprawl? Elves?
Regardless, a great deck idea, +1.

Is Cultivate good enough?

I would say that fertile ground is better? Get it out a turn earlier for extra mana and color fixing. Plus Fertile Ground costs less. Cultivate is a good card that allows to search for the two basic lands that you want at the time, Fertile Ground adds any color of mana when enchanted land is tapped for mana.

You are right.
Cultivate vs Fertile Ground:

Cultivate:
+You get more two lands instead of one mana.
+Lands are harder to destroy than enchantments.
-Costs more.

Fertile Ground:
+Costs less.
+Is pretty effective compared to that it costs only 2.
-Easier to destroy.
-Weaker effect.

Why not both?
Fertile Ground into Cultivate because you can?

Northern. Bro. You HAVE to add a few viridian claws in here. Deathtouch + First Strike + Lure, can I get an amen?

Doesn't seem too weak. Let me ponder what to remove...

I really like it. I've been trying to figure out a good way to do just this for quite a while. Thanks!
The only suggestion I have is to switch out Prized Unicorn for Noble Quarry. Noble Quarry is cheaper mana wise and it can bestow, acting as another lure spell. They are worth about the same too.

Not bad idea. Not bad at all.

Vraska the unseen, Dolmen gate and bow of nylea might help you out a bit if you wanted to raise the budget. infiltration lens should be a must have. not sure if the lens stacks for each creature but either way that's some awesome card draw. Shinen of life's roar is a cheaper alternative to noble quarry and taunting elf might have potential in a deck like this. hope that helps!

Ohh, the Lens must be added.

Oh dang, the lens is wicked with this!

The Shinen certainly does seem more efficient. In the end, I guess it comes down to wether you want an enchantment or an instant.

I recommend Sisters of Stone Death. Around $3 in value, put with a $10 deck you should be able to make the cut to below $15.

Sisters of Stone Death (4BBGG)
Legendary Creature - Gorgon
G: Target creature blocks Sisters of Stone Death this turn if able.
BG: Remove from the game target creature blocking or being blocked by Sisters of Stone Death.
2B: Put a creature card removed from the game with Sisters of Stone Death into play under your control.
5/7

Infernal Medusa is another great choice, as it paired with Lure is a deadly combination that kills all your opponents untapped creatures.

Infernal Medusa
Creature - Gorgon
At the end of each combat, destroy all non-Wall creatures blocked or being blocked by Infernal Medusa.
I can't remember P/T.
Here's a link to both cards:

Cool man! I guess I could add one copy of Sisters.
I hope you don't mind, but I prefer Tangle Asp over Infernal Gorgon.
