Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MtG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

"They see me trollin', they hatin'..."
This deck trolls your opponent with mob of trolls! So get up and start trolling!
Thrash and smash your opponent with these noble beasts! Behemoth Sledge makes sure that your life is gonna be easy!

-Prey Upon and Selesnya Charm are meant (mainly) for removal. Charm can also be used to get emergency blocker or to give trample.
-Sedge Troll and Charging Troll are the only trolls that I like white color, but they are surely awesome, right?

There are these two songs that go completely well with this deck, PLEASE check them out!

Thrun, the Last Troll. He was too legit to quit. (BTW, even 1-of is solid gold)

Too priceful for the budget. Sorry.

Armadillo Cloak and Charging Troll has always been one of my favorite combo's. But Behemoth Sledge works as well :-)

I think you need to arm the trolls with crossbows (Crossbow Ambush)

Tower Defense might be better suited... but I think crossbows are cooler...

For pointless trolling, maybe trepanation blade? Speaking of mill, could I get some help with this?

Could make it Golgari and add odious trow, trestle troll then Lotleth or Varolz for the big finish. They're both cheaper than Thrun. It would probably still come in under $20.... Although that would mean taking out the white.....

My friend once made a troll deck, his end game was Mossbridge Troll... Pretty big beating stick and auto-regen is nice

Ohh, that's one big-butt troll there. I think I can find room for one.
That beast is deadly with Behemoth Sledge, you know...

Its almost like you just threw a bunch of cheap trolls in a deck and then added lands.....its beautiful.

Sir, I will let you now that Northern didn't just throw a bunch of trolls in this deck ... he found the cheapest TROLLS of them all and crammed them into one of the funniest names ever. It wasn't too hard, him being a troll himself.

You should put Trolldad in this deck. It would be unstoppable!

for instants you should put in giant growth or groundswell.

How about lure? One troll gets creamed but lets the others do damage. Then, comes back to do it again.

Creamed?
Sounds good enough for me.

I love troll decks but personally I think it is blasphemous that there are disgusting elves serving alongside trollkind. flavorwise, why not use different ramp like enchants(wild growth, etc.) or even BOP before elves. plus add an Albino trollio

I really like Albino Troll but I sure as hell hate Echo.

Trace of Abundance, Hunting Grounds.

Thanks for suggestions, but I think that Fertile Ground and Elves will produce mana enough.
And about the Hunting Grounds... This deck tries to avoid getting it's creatures killed...

Hey Northern, why not use Birds of Paradise instead of elves ... they are flying and produce multicolored mana!

Fine bro, then try Abandoned Outpost or Abundant Growth on for size. Heck, even a Shimmering Grotto (not Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx ... $)

Selesnya's Collective Blessing is good, but why not use True Conviction. Just a thought ...

Congrats on another well deserved hot deck! Fertile Ground is so good I am going to buy a handful right now!
