It looks pretty neat, I must admit. I chose to try using Kithkin Mourncaller and Skyshroud Poucher this time with elves. They seem to be working. What do you think?Gather a big elf mob and smash some faces! Lys Alana Huntmaster provides you quickly with elves, Archruid provides you with mana, and Overrun provides you with the killing blow.

You said it.
Wow, Skyshroud Poacher is an amazing card.
Yeah! I saw it couple of days ago and I was all like: "What???!!!"That's some great stuff in mana-ramping elf deck.
Why Naturalize in maindeck, sb it and put any other elf in there, http://www.mtgvault.com/theswarmer/decks/budget-elf-elf-elf-overrun/Also i would playset Lys Alana Huntmaster, it's a really good card.
Naturalise is pretty mandatory now since the addition of enchantment creatures. It was always a nice enchantment/artifact remover, but now it has become a 2-mana versatile murder.
Nuff' said.
Great mobbing deck. I would consider the following cards though :)1. Hunting Triad2. Wirewood Hivemaster (welll I'm just going to put lots of these elves out. See what happens :) )3. Heedless One (oh btw my creature is currently a 10/10 trampler)4. Ezuri (if it fits in the budget) 5. Harmonize (I think you'll need some draws)But man, these elves and their ability to overflow the battlefield. So good XD
ezuri's archers would be good to have something to deal with flyers or thornweald archer has reach and deathtouch
Agreed! Wren's Run Vanquisher would be great as well!
Nice Deck. I have some thoughts.-Don't bother making low budget decks if you can't even play them in Modern, let alone Standard. There is no point in using legacy or vintage cards, in my opinion.-You have a few too many elves, and not enough spells to support them.-Get rid of the Poacher, it's not as good as it seems. Especially because most of your elves only cost 1-3 mana anyway.-Nissa's Chosen isn't very strong either.-Prey Upon is a decent Budget-replacement for Setessan Tactics, but you'll need some higher powered creatures, if you're going to pick "fights". And you probably don't need more than x2 or x3.
Thoughts appreciated.Though I must immediately respond to your first argument that these ARE NOT MEANT FOR ANY KINDS OF TOURNAMENT PLAY. Just for casual. Don't say that you've never read the deck description of my Budget Decks -series.
Sorry. I guess I should have done that first, especially because I like your work.I play MTGO and if you have anything older than a shiny Ravnika Porsche, they force you to play against folks using some very powerful sh#t. So, it's very hard to win any games when you have unnecessary old cards in them.
I don't play MTGO, but that sounds like a bad problem. I'm sorry about it.
Hmm ... you think you could make a "budget" MTGO deck Northy? Perhaps that 2$ might do the trick. :)
Nice looking elf deck northy! Headless one could be great and coiling oracle snake elf for the win!Check out my new standard deck blue devotion midrange could be good
