Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MTG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and the deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

Inspired and requested by DarkPhoenixMishima.

Even though the deck might seem a bit slow thanks to its lack of early drops, it can quickly overwhelm the battlefield mid-game thanks to its surprising dash creatures.

When your assault starts to slow down, cast a couple of kill spells and keep going.

The deck seems like a lot of fun for the price.

Two words: Impact Tremors!

I think that card would work well in this deck to ensure damage would get through even if your creatures cannot.

I also suggest cutting the wandering champion just to remove needing white for the early game, reducing stress on your white mana, and replacing that slot with 1 Silence the Believers to remove indestructible creatures and 3 Lightning Berserker/Mardu Shadowspear/Mardu Scout (depending on your preference)

Another option is Vault Breaker, but it is a higher mana cost and lets you loot.

Oh, oh! One more thing, Glimpse the Sun God is cheap and would definitely let you swing in for insured damage mid-game when your creatures might not stack up as well against other mid-range creatures.

Hey NorthernWarlord,

Very nice deck! I might try this out!

Could you make a Mardu deck with a budget of 75 dollars? Would really like to see what you would come up with. Also would you mind take a look at my Mardu deck and maybe give me some suggestions?

What about Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury?

Kolaghan Forerunner/Goblin Rabblemaster + Ajani Steadfast. Also more Crackling Doom, insanely good card right now. Just a couple of thoughts.
