Deck Description

Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.
Use your bank account on nearest MTG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!
The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and the deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)

How to Play

What's the point of having minions if you cannot get all the profit you want from them? What's the point of having a board full of 1/1 or 2/1 creatures if you cannot do anything with them? Well, you know what they say: If you cant beat them, EAT them!

Cast spells and creatures that gobble up your weaklings for profit. While Bloodflow Connoisseur gets bigger, Bone Splinters make your opponent suffer and Doomgape beats your opponent to death.

Hey I saw you made a red green dragon deck a few years ago. Could you update it using the new cards from Tarkir block?

Hey, I can use your idea to combine it with another idea I got earlier today:
"A casual dragon deck."
Two birds with one stone.

Bloodsoaked Champion is also good to cycle in and out of the yard (if it is considered budget?) Champion of Lost Souls might be fun to cycle multiple creatures in and out of the yard at a time, triggering ETB and LTB effects.

Also, Life's Legacy is often better than Altar's Reap (at least with the bigger critters).

The more I look at this deck the more I love it. That the big creatures can be subbed for other nasty stuff easily depending on your play style is great fun.

Love all your work NorthernWarlord, can we get a modern tag on some of these modern legal budget decks so they are easier to find?

Jarad's Order to pull reassembling skeletons. The draw and death may come back to bite you later. End up having to sacrifice something you really need to remove something or draw. Sign in blood or read the bones are just as good for draw, a little life isn't that bad. Doom blade or just murder would be good too. Varolz may work well here as well, scavenge the creatures you've sacrificed since I don't see a way to pull them back. Maybe korozda guildmage. All in all a good starter sacrifice deck list.

Budget deck, between 10 and 20 bucks? Can do. Just made and bought this one for $14.65, including shipping.

I have a deck that is similar to this. It isn't budget, but it has been one of my favorite decks to play for years. It tends to be a little more fun in 2HG, but I feel that way about MtG in general.

That sounds like a plan!
Perfect combination: with the bloodflow connoisseur and the doomgapes and still on budget.
