Deck discussion for Budget Decks: Balls-Deep-Aggro

Very nice, but Is there anything I can replace goblin war drums with to make this modern legal but still work the same?

A great, cheap aggro deck. Only one thing I would add is something to give double strike for that extra damage, such as Cleaver Riot or Savage Beating (turn 5 card, hopefully you win by then, but this can give a serious beating).

But again another great deck, Northy! XD

Thanks! Some double-striking going in!

How about Brute Force? It will possibly help with creature removal, and will beef up one of your unblocked creatures. Mix that with Double Cleave, and a simple 1/1 will do 8 damage. Just a thought.

Brute Force is a good idea.

Except I can't kill small blockers with Lava Spikes.
Going to sideboard them though.

^seriously...why not just lightning bolt?

lightning bolt is not the cheapest card at about a dollar 25 cents each

im all down for budget, but if you have to consider lightning bolts due to a $1 playset, how much magic can you afford to play if thats overbudget

What about madcap skills? It gives the same effect as goblin wardrum with +3 power and only cost rc (1 red 1 colorless).

depending on how budget you wanna be i'd drop some hellriders in. they're only like $.7 each according to mtgvault.

Heck Yeah. I was thinking the same thing.... I'd suggest in place of the hellraiser or the diplomat, personally, as I hate the "must attack each turn" thing... but... still an awesome deck as is!

Have you considered Skinbrand Goblin?
It's a 2/1 for 2 mana, but has a bloodrush for one.
