Are you bored? Does Magic: The Gathering feel old and vapid? Got any useless bucks in your bank account? Ladies and Gentlemen, I have solution.Use your bank account on nearest MTG marketplace website and buy some cheap cards, craft a deck, and challenge your friends! To double the fun, ask your friend to create such a deck too!The Budget Decks -series is meant for your free time! These are meant to inspire you, and the deck's value is meant to be low! (Between 10 and 20 bucks.)
Inspired and requested by Heepsakills. The deck attempts to gain control of your opponent's creatures and spells in order to both win the game and/or to troll your opponents. Effective in 1v1? I don't think so. An awesome way to make people hate you in Two-Headed Giant or in Free-for-all? Definitely.

Is playing EDH worth it? Kinda pricy.
With the right playing group, EDH is MTG at its best: cunning politics, powerful strategies, a bunch of counterspells, big beatsticks, laughter of joy, and of course an enormous amount of pure fun!I love EDH. And as you mentioned, EDH might be a bit pricey to play, but then again, that is the main reason why my Budget EDH decks exist.
To me, EDH is the epitome of fun magic. Almost anything works. While it can be expensive to get into, the precon decks help to alleviate that. Consider also that not all EDH decks require all the staples and expensive cards. My playgroup is very casual, and my Izzet EDH deck (which is my pride and joy) runs no Sol Ring, or Caged Sun or Command Tower, and it does fine. EDH is certainly my favourite format, and I would say that if you can play EDH, you should.
Thanks! I will definitely try it out!
yep edh is my favorite to. it can get spendy but it doesn't have to be that expensive there are lots of cheap dual lands to use and land is always your best investment because you will always use land. most of my edh decks are listed between $200-300 but im sure I got them cheaper then that and I already own a lot of the cards so throwing a new edh together doesn't take much

Willbender, or Breaking/Entering.
Hey warlord could you make a modern black budget zombie or if you need to just cut out the budget :D please?
you should look at northy's own zombie deck I found it for youhttp://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/decks/my-first-deck-today/
Thank you :D
Too bad my first deck ain't Modern legal. I can craft you a Modern legal zombie tribal, with either 20, 50 or 100 dollar budget.
Loving it, thanks man!

jeleva, nephelia's scourge would be good here
I've got a deck that does the same general thing. It's white black and uses the will of the council keyword from conspiracy. It trolls so hard in multiplayer because I'm not the bad guy making the decisions. I leave that to everyone else. Hence its name , Democracy! Sadly I don't have it on vault for some reason so I cannot share it :(
It does sound like a fun deck though!
Yes, please take time to share? :)
Once I get home I will try and remember to upload it. I just got married today so I'm currently on vacation
Congratulations!
Oh, congratulations dude! I hope you two live happily ever after!
Thanks guys! I appreciate it!
congrats drak
may i suggest enslave over volition reins?
Going to sideboard Enslave. Thanks for suggestion.
can you give me some feedback on my standard warrior tribal deck?http://www.mtgvault.com/lordmalphas/decks/mardu-green/
honestly my favorite combo for creature theft is Bazaar Trader + Act of Treason Effects. You take their creature with Act of Treason, then activate Bazaar trader's ability targeting the stolen creature and gifting it to yourself. This creates a permanent override to the return at the end of the turn clause on the act of treason effect. Conjurer's Closet or any flicker ability can do the same thing.
I love combos like that! I've tried building decks that do that to almost everything, but it's hard. Might go the route of edh and see if that works
i run a yasova edh that does a pretty good job of playing everyone else's deck for them, as it can take any kind of permanent and uses combos such as the one above
Combo that with living plane and start stealing land rofl
