Sure, you have to jump through some hoops first, but it sure gets fun! This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Commander_(format)I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget/
Nihiloor's price won't show up for some reason. His price trend should be between 0.33-0.55 dollars on the American market.https://www.tcgplayer.com/product/243765/magic-commander-adventures-in-the-forgotten-realms-nihiloor?id=243765&utm_campaign=affiliate&utm_medium=print-sidebar&utm_source=scryfall&Language=EnglishNihiloor is ultimately all about stealing stuff. This deck attempts to combine several different themes under a single umbrella that allows you to take advantage of all possible resources provided!Themes in this deck: - Creature-stealing / exchanging. (Also in Nihiloor's effect.) - Tapping creatures & benefitting from it. (Also in Nihiloor's effect.) - Attacking with creatures, both stolen and not. (Also in Nihiloor's effect.) - Making your creatures stronger, which will help you both in combat as well as with Nihiloor's ETB-trigger. - Sacrificing some creatures for benefit. (Perhaps the creatures you stole yourself?)In the end, these themes work surprisingly well combined together, not to mention the fact that it looks quite a fun deck to play with as well, with its high amount of political playspace. Perhaps I'll consider building something similar to this for myself in the future...Statistics, pros and cons. Consider reading these, especially if you are a newbie!Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <><><> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ A very versatile build.+ Ways to constantly use your opponents' best resources against them.+ A lot of political playspace means you'll never play the same game twice.+ Very fun to play.Cons:- The efficient usage of Nihiloor requires many hoops to jump through; creatures you wan't to steal, creatures that are bigger than those creatures and ways to keep Nihilor alive after entering the battlefield, not to mention that you would prefer attacking with the stolen creatures as well to gain all out of Nihiloor!- Several different playstyles mashed into one may lead to some situations where your cards cannot benefit you as much as they otherwise could.- To get all out from this deck, you will need to make a rather extended setup.
