Saruman might be one hell of an oddball, but at least he'll have this one hell of an odd deck to run him in now!As long as Saruman is on the battlefield, you'll benefit rather well from casting two spells on the same turn, meaning you'll get a creature that constantly grows throughout the turns. The problem is: How do you make sure you can constantly cast these two spells?Luckily there are many ways to it. Spells with flashback or jump-start can definitely help, such as Think Twice and Radical Idea, which both can be rather easily cast twice as soon as Saruman sticks around for a round. Many creatures and effects in this deck also let you cast spells for practically zero effort, such as Stolen Goods and Jace's Mindseeker, both of which trigger Saruman's effect alone (1 cast for the spell and 1 cast for the stolen spell). Last but not the least, you may also find many cards in this deck that can be bounced back into your hand for some extra casting value, as well as easier second cast each turn. Merely having Archaeomancer and Geistwave, for example, will allow you to draw a card and trigger saruman for 6 mana every turn. Many of these instantaneous bounce effects can also be utilized to defend your valuable assets, most likely Saruman, from getting killed by enemy effects (even though Saruman's 'Ward 2' will likely help in the process as well)!Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ Can pull off unique and interesting combinations in the long run.+ Can produce steady card advantage if given time.Cons:- Quite slow.
