Deck Description

Happy spring everyone!
Time to knock some heads, in environmentally sustainable fashion!

This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.
https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Commander_(format)

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Green lifestyle... or should I say, green deathstyle?

Anyway, this deck is a combination of your classic Golgari sacrifice and an intense (semi) aggressive beatdown! Drop Storrev, keep them alive and whack some heads for some graveyard-retrieving goodness! Remember to sacrifice your dudes before going into combat so Storrev's abilities will work!

Another upside of this deck is the minimal setup: all you need is your commander and a creature that eats up creatures (either itself or some other). Everything else really is just a bonus! Try out all kinds of weird combinations and cards to find out the best of what Storrev can do!

Statistics, pros and cons. Consider reading these, especially if you are a newbie!

Statistics: (out of 5)
- Deck Speed: <><><> (How quick the deck is?)
- Creature Focus: <><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)
- Creature Size: <><><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)
- Card Synergy: <><><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)
- Card Value: <><><><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)
- Level of Complexity: <><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)

Pros:
+ Is able to provide (practically) infinite resources while laying down a proper beating!
+ Can reuse and protect its resources (especially creatures) with minimal effort!
+ Semi fast: you may have the main setup by turn 4 and start laying a beating by turn 5!
+ Doesn't require a lot of setup. Harder to disrupt!

Cons:
- Vulnerable to graveyard hate.
- Vulnerable against very defensive decks. (Pillowfort, Control, etc.) Focus them down first whenever possible!

Deck discussion for BEDH: Reuse, Recycle, Repeat

It's not a golgari EDH deck if it doesnt use the graveyard!

What about Fireshrieker or Grappling Hook to provide Storrev, Devkarin Lich with double strike and thus double the number of creatures you can get back?

I thought about it myself before. I guess Fireshrieker could find its spot here.
