I named a deck "Multicolor Madness" recently despite the fact it had nothing to do with the Madness-keyword, unlike this one. This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Commander_(format)I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget/
For some reason Extus's price trend won't show up on this website. Anyone interested in purchasing him should know his price trend was between 0.96-1.49 dollars on the American market at the moment of this deck's creation.https://www.tcgplayer.com/product/235673/magic-strixhaven-school-of-mages-extus-oriq-overlord?xid=pi50cf8055-50bf-4a46-ad13-ad5f2f7ba80c&Language=English&page=1I gotta admit - this deck looks pretty good for such budget. It has all the necessities for some good time: a lot of card advantage, a lot of synergy between cards, and most of all - ways to make your opponents ever even showing up.Extus is quite handy at retrieving fallen creatures from your graveyard, and should be used as the "main commander" over its backside. Other effects in this deck throw cards constantly away, both yours and your opponents, so Extus can really be a game-changer around here. Hold on to him!Statistics, pros and cons. Consider reading these, especially if you are a newbie!Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <><><> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ If your opponents do not make their moves fast, they might end up unable to pull them off at all!+ Can efficiently recycle the resourcesyou throw away.+ Cards for several different situations.Cons:- Counterspells and graveyard-hate hurt you really bad.- Extus is quite needed for this deck's main function. Try to keep him alive!
