K.I.A. Rest in peace. This is a Budget Elder Dragon Highlander deck (BEDH). It is meant for the Elder Dragon Highlander format, a.k.a. Commander. If you are not familiar with the format, I'll link it below for you.https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Commander_(format)I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget/
Even though Koll is probably meant to be played as a default beatdown aura-equipment deck, this deck attempts to utilize his wackier properties: the ability to retrieve dead allies from graveyard, provided they were equipped/enchanted the moment they died!Equip cheap equipments on creatures you control, then sacrifice them to fuel your engines. You will be able to burst out a lot of profit in a short period of time provided you'll have the mana to repeat the process a couple of times per turn. Death-triggers? Sure. ETB-abilities? Absolutely. The possibilities are nearly endless! If needed, you can always turn to aggressive beatdown, especially if one or two foes are near death. Several creatures, such as Champion of the Flame and Swiftblade Vindicator can lay down serious beating when equipped with powerful equipments!Statistics, pros and cons. Consider reading these, especially if you are a newbie!Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <><> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ A ton of value, provided you can keep your commander alive and a couple of equipments/enchantments available.Cons:- Without your commander, the whole strategy unravels. Keep Koll alive at any cost!
