A standard-playable(ish) deck by me? In 2023?Quite hard to believe! This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget/
I am by no means saying that this deck will rock at your local FNM, but by all means you are free to give it a spin (for about half an year before standard rotation, that is)!The idea here is to create creatures which are very, very hard to kill. Shield counters and proliferation can lead into situations where your creatures must be damaged multiple times before they die. Combine this with some fliers, tramplers or otherwise hard-to-block creatures, and you should be good to go!As mentioned, everything here focuses on having nigh-invincible dudes. Drop a dude or two, save up some mana for some instant-speed shenanigans, then focus on getting damage through, slowly but steadily. Thrummingbird, Sanctuary Warden, Security Bypass and Walking Skyscraper are your best chances at making some big plays.Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <><> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ Can have ridiculously hard-to-kill creatures.+ Has several different tools to slow down the game. Cons:- Dislikes enemy lifegain.- A bit vulnerable to horde-type decks.
