A 60-card Esper deck, now with soft stax elements! This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget/
I've always wanted to find out how to best utilize effects such as Dampening Pulse, Azorius Skyguard, Waker of Waves or Cumber Stone (last one not included in this deck). Now I decided to work out a deckplan mostly focused around these cards!Weaken enemy creatures until they are no longer a threat. Once they have been weakened, utilize hard-to-block creatures as well as Ill-Gotten Inheritance to close the game up slowly and steadily. A quite versatile control package, if you ask me!Many of this deck's cards love to see weak enemy creatures, such as Scuttling Doom Engine, Connive, Solar Tide and Twisted Image, for example. Find out all the cool synergies and utilities your cards can really have! When in doubt, take a look at the sideboard for some alternate options against alternative opponents!Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ Naturally powerful against horde-type decks!+ Able to handle any and all creature threats!+ Able to lock enemies into tough situations.Cons:- Requires time to setup for things to function.- More vulnerable against decks with little to no creatures.
