Deck Description

...we can kill it.

This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!

I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.

How to Play

Sometimes you just want to kick back and chill. What could be better than doing so while your opponents die off without you even raising a finger?

This deck is mostly made to be played so you need to play as little as possible. It has its certain weaknesses, of course, but against some decks it just might be the most hellish thing ever. Basically you just drop a couple of defensive dudes onto the field, then hold on while you debilitate opposing creatures using Stab Wounds and Clawing Torments. If your opponent refuses to play creatures, consider dropping Dogged Pursuits and Ill-Gotten Inheritances to slowly durdle away.

Statistics, pros and cons. Consider reading these, especially if you are a newbie!

Statistics: (out of 5)
- Deck Speed: <> (How quick the deck is?)
- Creature Focus: <> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)
- Creature Size: <><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)
- Card Synergy: <><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)
- Card Value: <><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)
- Level of Complexity: <><><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)

Pros:
+ Very silly to play: just basically do nothing for the most of the game.
+ What could be funnier than to value off from cards like Clawing Torment and Stab Wound?
+ Includes Piranha Marsh.

Cons:
- Awfully slow.
- Weak against constant lifegain.
- Weak against decks with little to no creatures.
- Weak against sacrifice-themed decks.
- People will likely think you as a mentally-deranged freak if you actually play this.

Deck discussion for BD: If It Bleeds...

Pestilence would fit in well.

Bloodthirsty Aerialist instead of Wall of Limbs? Costs the same mana but can be used more aggressive than the wall.

Some other suggestions:
[[Curse of Death's Hold]] (Costs 1 mana more to play than [[Night of Souls' Betrayal]] but only affects your opponents creatures), Torment of Scarabs, Accursed Witch, [[Lampad of Death's Vigil]] (In combination with Sanitarium Skeleton)

Thank you both for your suggestions! I was unsure which cards to remove so I added both suggestions (Pestilence and Bloodthirsty Aerialist) into the sideboard. At least if someone decides to give this deck a spin they can find those two easily. Also, I really didn't like putting in sacrifice-forcers since the opponent can then sacrifice creatures affected by Stab Wound and Clawing Torment, rendering them effectively useless.
