Golgari control? Why not! This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget/
This deck takes the role of a traditional control deck, then slaps them on a Golgari-colored one. Will it work? Let's look at it more closely...Death is an essential theme in this control deck. Glowspore Shaman and Primal Druid are very good at holding the line early on, while Clattering Augur provides you with additional resources. These all can be utilized as fuel sources for Deadly Brew, as well as Daemogoth Titan and Dusk Mangler, thus fulfilling the theme. Gaze of Granite is another card which could be considered a sacrifice-enabler, since it wipes the slate clean with little effort, provided you have a land or two lying around available. And since we mentioned lands, many of this deck's lands can be sacrificed for a variety of benefits while taking them back with Timeless Witness or the Brew's benefit. With this deck, the game is won by big dude beatdown. Aforementioned Titan and Mangler are good examples, and Spiritmonger is a great add to them. With upper-scale stats and an ability to both regenerate and grow bigger with each attack, the Monger easily breaks any and all stalemate-situations before long. When you run into problems, skim through the sideboard: do the cards included help you in any way?Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <><> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><><><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ Able to handle most threats.+ Can recycle resouces semi-effectively.Cons:- Semi-vulnerable to graveyard-hate.- Vulnerable to aggro.
