Time to kick some teeth in, no matter how long you have played this game!
This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!
I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills.

This deck enjoys to take on its foes! Cast a creature or two, then launch into fearless onslaughts to see who is the best after all!
As a newbie deck, this deck assumes its player knows the following abilities and effects:
- Fight. The most important effect of all, at least with the cards included in this deck. Fighting means that the creatures provided with the effect deal damage equal their power to one another. This is especially useful if your creatures can kill the other creature without dying in the process, or can benefit you otherwise even when dying (see Careless Celebrant, Havengul Vampire, Rot Shambler and Spore Crawler, for example)!
- Deathtouch. Creatures with deathtouch automatically kill any creatures they damage. This is handy especially when you can force enemies to block those creatures, or force these creatures to fight your opponent's bigger creatures!
- Trample. In this deck, only Enlarge provides the Trample-keyword. When a creature has trample, it deals any excess damage it inflicts on blocking creatures to the enemy player. This is very useful when the attackers are really big, and with Enlarge, this happens quite easily! Also, if you combine it with deathtouch, the attacker will only deal 1 damage to the blocker, and all the rest through!
So, once you know these effects, you are pretty much safe to pilot this deck. Try to cast creatures such as Rot Shambler and Havengul Vampire, which benefit from creatures dying, then try to keep them around while you raise hell using your other creatures (more willing to die), such as Careless Celebrant, Narnam Renegade and Spore Crawler. When needed, use sorcery spells such as Irresistible Prey and Pyroclasm to force the death of some creatures, and maybe even Regrowth to bring some cards back for another round! Before long, you might have picked off all the valuable creatures from your opponent, and can safely swing for the fences, dealing constant damage through.
Normally the sideboard consists of 15 cards, which may be switched in between the matches to customize your deck better against specific opponents. Since this deck is designed for casual environments, it is this time utilized to demonstrate ideas on how to develop this deck further, if interested. These cards can be divided into three groups of 6 cards, each of which having their own subtheme:
- Damage. If you wish to find out a lot of interesting ways to utilize damage dealt to creatures, grab 2x Stuffy Doll, 2x Deep-Slumber Titan and 2x Chain Reaction from the sideboard. You can use these in many clever ways both together and with the other cards included in this deck!
- Late-Game Fight Club. If you wish to go big, consider adding 3x Foe-Razer Regent and 3x Gruul Ragebeast. These fellas will make sure you'll be fighting all the time!
- Cunning Combat. When you feel like your opponents get to take it too easy, put 3x Curse of Predation and 3x Curse of Stalked Prey in. These curses make sure your opponents will have a hard time deciding whether to let your dudes through or not!
