Newbies love these bad buggies!I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget
Cast a beetle or two, then gather up some +1/+1 counters on your creatures and unleash a tide of unstoppable attackers! To play this deck, a player should know the basic rulings of Magic: The Gathering. In addition, this deck includes some useful keywords and abilities, which are listed below:- A +1/+1 counter. Whenever an effect tells you to put a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control, it gets an additional +1 to both its power and toughness for as long as it stays on the battlefield. It is a smart idea to mark these counters with dice!- Trample. Mentioned in Duskshell Crawler, trample allows your attacking creatures to squish smaller blockers under. If an attacking creature with trample would deal more than enough damage to kill all the assigned blockers, all the remaining damage will be dealt to the defending player. This makes your larger creatures even more dangerous in combat!- A token. Iridescent Hornbeetle can provide you with 1/1 green Insect creature tokens. These tokens are functionally similar to any other creature you control, except they cease to exist for good as soon as they leave the battlefield. Use separate cards, whether official tokens or perhaps even those made by you yourself, to separate these token creatures from other creatures you control! Many mono green stompy decks are simple to play, and this deck is by no means an exception. Play small green insects onto the battlefield, then buff them with several cards in the deck. Ponder your strategy beforehand: Will it be smarter to gather a lot of counters on a single creature, or spread them evenly on your creatures? There is no single objective answer to this, and you'll need to figure it out depending on your opponent and your situation each game! You can utilize the sideboard to customize this deck further into a direction of your choice. Adding 3x Brass Heralds can help turn this deck into more of an Insect theme deck, while 3x Scute Mob and 4x Fertilid's Favor can really help tune the deck towards more of a lategame strategy. If you just feel like having more solid options for a generic +1/+1 counter deck, Invigorating Surge and Curse of Predation could help a lot!Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <><><> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ A lot of early game creatures.+ Can grow any of its creatures into a potent threat during the game!Cons:- Vulnerable against well-placed killing spells.
