As I mentioned in my previous deck, I had some difficulties with my PC.Now that everything (pretty much) works again, it is time to bounce back onto the saddle! And is there a better way to celebrate it by creating a horseback-themed pillaging deck? I don't think so!This is a Budget Deck (BD for short). It is meant primarily for casual play, and its estimated mid value is aimed to land between 10 and 20 US dollars at most. Take this detail into consideration when browsing the deck!I mostly use MTG Vault for my own private projects nowadays, but feel free to comment or request a deck of your choice. I've loved the Vault so far, and I like that they are still improving on it, as well as I am improving on my English language skills. So, if you like what you see, consider checking out some of my other budget-y work from the link below.https://www.mtgvault.com/northernwarlord/budget/
Aggressive horseback-buddies (or "goatback", if Axgard Cavalry is considered,) can unleash hell upon your opponent's ass unless they play it really defensively! So, the basic idea is to drop a guy or two and lay down some beating. Victory will likely come from constant beatdown combined with powerful instant-spells. It really is quite straight-forward, so you can just kick back and kick in some teeth! When you think that your opponent runs strategies your deck is ill-suited against, grab a card or two from the sideboard to try out! Statistics: (out of 5)- Deck Speed: <><><><> (How quick the deck is?)- Creature Focus: <><><><><> (How much this deck relies on creatures?)- Creature Size: <><> (How big are the main creatures of this deck?)- Card Synergy: <><> (Do the cards of the deck help out each other well?)- Card Value: <><> (How much card advantage can you get out of your cards?)- Level of Complexity: <><> (How hard this deck is to properly play?)Pros:+ Quite fast and aggressive.+ Can burst out tons of damage with clever instants!+ Horseback theme is a nice bonus!Cons:- A bit low on the card advantage -side: Make your cards count!- Vulnerable against control: Try to outspeed them!

i like the stats and pros/cons on the description. that's super helpful to people starting out and this would be a solid starter deck for someone to build off of.if you drop erg riders for something like rakdos shred freak of zurgo, bellstriker it would even make it modern legal i believe

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! You are correct about the legality. The reason I run Erg Raiders is solely the theme of this deck: "riding while raiding". All the creatures are riding some other creature in their art, all this because of the pun with the title "Back in the Saddle".
that makes sense. ill have to see if i can find a modern legal substitute that's on horseback.
Flamerush Rider, Breakneck Rider (Tough it doesn't ride any more as Werewolf. Wonder what happened to the horse and where he gets a new one when transforming back into the rider ^^), Smogsteed Rider. Personally I love the "new" search lands from Streets of New Capena because you get a mana fixing due to the land search, remove a land from your library that you can't draw later on and gain one life. Riveteers Overlook be the fitting one here.
smogsteed would be a very solid choice here.
