I really want to get my hands on an Elbrus blade, I feel it'd be an amazing addition.

You make valid points on each subject. The main reasoning for some of the cards that I have chosen, is to be only INN and above, since the next cycle is coming out making most of the sets outdated, (Dont want to waste my money on something that will only last a few months) Pit-Dwellers i'm still on the fend with. They're great aggro, and they are also removal bait. I have a few ways to give them counters too, so their undying won't take in effect. Guides, I just have them in there to buff my taskmasters for a minute, only to be sacrificed. They're there only to buff my main unit. (I might add bone splinters) I have the Masks of Avacyn and Ranger's guile on the sideboard, based on my opponents deck and the amount of removal they are adding. I like the Lumberknot due to the built in Hexproof, (if I did use sets before INN, I would go Thrun in a heartbeat). Harvester of Souls works well in combo with Revenge of the Hunted, as well as Killing Wave... and I dunno, I just like his art :D So far it works very very well. Only decks with heavy enchantment/artifact destruction really mess me up. Otherwise I knock 'em out pretty well. Typical game involved having a Demonic Taskmaster, with a Homicidal Seclusion out, (7/4) that got a +1/+1 counter from the guide, and also wearing Predator's Gambit, effectively making him a 10/6 intimidate/flyer. Get in a swing, and Essence Harvest makes it GG. Essence Harvest is truly great in my opinion, its a nice burn, and heal for only 3 mana! And my units are usually at least in the 5-9 ballpark due to homicidal. I really see amazing potential Blue/Black loner, i.e. INVISIBLE STALKER.... and all the counters/hexproof and what not are in there. But I want to try out Green for a bit, as I like to be a bit different, and not to mention this color combo is pretty cheap at the moment. :D
