Deck discussion for Defenders of the Eldrazi

Cut blue

Thats wall of denial and wall of frost gone, 6 cuts.

This type of deck is cheap, the mana is going to come from the walls, not from getting 11 lands. You're almost definitely safe with 23 lands, making it 8 cuts

Add 4 Wall of Blossoms and 4 Wall of Omens. If you can find room, maybe even a couple Carven Caryatid.

More or less, you want more walls on the battlefield, faster, all the time. If you suddenly have 8 2 drops that are replacing themselves, those overgrown battlements and Ulamogs are going to show up a lot quicker

I have something similar to this. Its R/G only but it pumps out massive amounts of defense, then uses the mana from the walls to cast huge banefires and fire balls and junk

seems like a pretty good deck imo. if anything maybe something to give u a lil extra draw would be a lil more fun. that or some kind of creature or player hate. other than that it seems pretty good.

this is sick. i've wanted to make something like this for a while now. i'd cut warmonger's chariot. most of your walls have either 1 or 0 attack anyways

i think there are better X spells than fireball, for huge dmg to more targets comet storm or bonfire, for straight uncounterable dmg to a player banefire

LOL....As if Eldrazi need defended!

Just at the thought of something defending Eldrazi, Id laugh my ass off at this deck, right up to the time that you crammed an Ulamog down my throat about the 4th turn...That would tend to stop the laughing very quick.

Great job by the way :)

much like JarodMacDonald, I have a similar red green defender deck for burning.

From what I see, your deck is great, but as others have said, try to find something a bit more powerful than fireballs and I would look over again your color distribution, if you want to see those fireballs and pull them off, I would consider giving red some more emphasis in this deck than you are doing with white at this point.

Well 4 Birds of Paradise and 4 Jungle Shrine's at least give him 7 damage with it....but 7 damage in an Eldrazi deck is very little when faced with Ulamog and/or Kozilek. If he wants more, without changing the rest too terribly much, He could drop in Orochi Leafcaller, That will let him turn his Greens into Red for the casting of said Fireball.
