Deck Description

This is a post-M11 version of an Eldrazi Ramp deck I've been working with. Splashing White for Perimeter Captain and Wall of Omens, the big mana producers in the deck are Overgrown Battlements and Primeval Titans

This is good ramp. Overgrown Battlement can produce tons of mana, a modern day Priest of Titania.

It's really good. Unfortunately, it has the same problem as a BoP or Noble Hierarch: it dies to kill spells. Still, keeping 'em out is an effective deterrent against the aggro decks.

I've seen alot of mana ramp eldrazi decks that use overgrown battlements, and for the part it works. The only problem though, is when they start killing your battlements. All the defenders in the world won't help your mana ramp if your battlements eat doom blades and smothers. If your defenders stick though, your curve is pretty solid and I was always a personal fan of Summoning Trap.
