This deck was originally designed as an angel deck, but testing has found it to be a great life deck.

Deck discussion for Wrath of the Angels

Well, first off, get yourself at least one Wrath of God. No "Wrath" deck is complete without it. ^.~

Dust Elemental and Slagwurm Armor aren't really doing more than slowing you down and they aren't on-theme. Maybe a couple White Knights? Or, if you want more life gain, a couple Goldenglow Moths or Knight of Meadowgrain? Trying to suggest some early creatures that will be easy to get and can only help you. :)

Thanx for those suggestions, will keep an eye out for them. But instead of taking out Slagwurm Armor, I might put Kitesail Apprentice back into the deck so as to have a 2/8 flyer by 3rd turn.

I got one problem with this deck- the number of copies of each card. I personally prefer 3x and 4x of cards (2x for legends) unless there's less for a good reason. This helps with consistancy in the deck by increasing the chance of drawing what you need.

With that said, not bad. You should definitly look into the white enchantment that lets you win if you have 30 or more life (I too forget the name).

The enchantment I was thinking of is Test of Endurance and you need 50 or more life at the beginning of your upkeep.
Another card that'd do similar are is Felidar Sovereign. It's more expensive to cast and is a creature, but it only wants you to have 40 or more life at the beginning of your upkeep.

I do have a good reason. When I started magic (in 08) I got the Divine vs Demonic duel set. This is essentially the Divine deck with a few alterations. Also, I live a small country town. The nearest place to get Magic cards is in Brisbane, usually a little more than 2hrs away, but with all the recent flooding it can take up to a 5hrs.

Dam. Didn't know that. By the way, I live in a small town too (it takes 30 min by car to go from one side of town to the other), but lucky for me, the only store that sells Magic cards is two suburbs away :p My problem lies with how much it costs to get single cards. I live in south africa, so US$1 = ZAR7 to ZAR8 (depends on fluctuation) and then there's still the cost of importing the cards too :'(

30min from 1 side of town to the other is not small. 5min is.
