Deck Description

Using the 4 imprint cards here (Isochron Scepter, Prototype Portal, Soul Foundry and Myr Welder) an infinite loop is created.

First: Imprint Myr Welder on Soul Foundry. This now gives you an infinite number of Myr Welders.

Second: Imprint Isochron Scepter on Prototype Portal. This now gives you an infinite number of Isochron Scepters.

Third: Imprint the instant spells on the copies of Isochron Scepter. I have chosen these spells for a reason:
Counterspell - The reason is in the name.
Soul Parry - Damage prevention
Terminate - The best creature destroying spell ever printed
Virulent Wound - Poison counters
Countersquall - Counter AND life loss.
Steel Sabotage - Bring back destroyed artifacts.

Fourth: Imprint fallen Isochron Scepters on Myr Welder for more awe-inspiring imprint action.

Deck discussion for Imprint Loop

I've probably missed something very "key" here but how do you have the mana to do infinite anything? With that, why not just imprint Silence on Isochron Scepter? I think thats the smartest imprint available(other than Time Walk)

Not really seeing the infinite in this deck, its just a regular control deck that tries very hard to use Isochron scepter.

keep in mind that copies of isochron scepter will not be possible to imprint, due to them not staying in the graveyard.

imprinted cards are exiled, not put into the graveyard. "copy" implies a physical copy of a card or spell, not a token so when it's exiled it still exists, where as tokens can only exist on the battlefield.

even better than silence to throw on the scepter is orim's chant because you can kick it if they somehow got creatures out. Also echoing the non- infiniteness of this deck. now if a scepter was imprinted on a welder and you had an infinite stream of mana(pili-pala AND palladium myr imprinted on the same welder) then you could use voltaic construct to untap the scepter welder however many times you want. then the best thing to have on it would be lightning bolt. But dont ever mind how convoluted this is, just dont even think on that and do it. it would be funny if you could pull it off.
