Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Pretty basic RDW, I used guttersnipe instead of hellrider and added aristocrat. Aristocrat is great with brimstone volley because it sets up morbid. With a guttersnipe out, a 3-mana volley deals 7. This list is really hard to stop, it hits fast and has some strong damage engines in the midgame to consistently win by turn 5 or 6 even against removal. Aristocrat is especially good against board sweepers, I can sacrifice my other creatures(that would die anyways) to make it survive and keep hitting an opponent's empty board.

Deck discussion for RDW sideboard help

Brimstone Volley doesn't go well with Pillar, since the creature doesn't die with Pillar...

Bump is a sh.t card... ...drop it & play some Dreadbore instead!..

Play Mizzium Mortars instead of Brimstone, or 2-2, or 3 Mizzium & 1 Brimstone!..

Blood Artist is very nice with both Vexing Devil & Aristocrat, so I suggest you use it instead of the Noble!..

Use 3 more Swamp & 3 less Mountain!.. ...you'll than have 17 lands that could produce red mana & 13 that could produce black...

Possible sideboards: 4x Rakdos Charm(against grave & token decks), 3x Sever the Bloodline(against tokens & indestructible creatures), 4x Slaughter Games(expecially against control decks that contain only 1 or 2 potential finishers), 3x Elixir of Immortality(against mill decks), 1 extra Guttersnipe(when you decide to put in many spells from among the sideboards)...

Hope this will help making your deck competative!.. :)

Brimstone volley is weak with pillar, but it's great with the Aristocrat. While I agree Bump is overplayed, it's this is the kind of deck that it's good in. The deck is able to get a lot of damage in early, and then it just needs a mix of a few Volley, Bump, or Searing Spear with guttersnipe to finish the opponent off. This deck isn't really the kind of deck I normally play though. Here's the Selesnya deck I will be playing the next time I go to FNM http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=402347
and my dream Jund deck that I'll probly never play(too expensive) http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=401365

i dont think bimp is a sh** card with a guttersnipe on the field your paying 1 black for 3life loss and 2 damage and you have the option late game for a finisher from the grave
