Commander deck for Zedruu The Greathearted. I built this for a variant my friends and I play called Star Attacking. The way it works is that each person tries to kill the two people sitting opposite to them, but the people next to him don't matter. (Kind of like the allied and enemy colors). The idea of the deck is to set up my enemies as easy targets and help my allies my stuff to help kill them, while making myself a hard target. The deck is also good for regular free-for-all play, where I can get everyone to gang up on one or two people by setting them up as much easier targets than me. Cards that make me a less attractive target to attack: Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs; Gisela, Blade of Goldnight; Slumbering Dragon; Wall of Frost; Sphere of Safety; Propaganda; Soul Snare; Windborn Muse; Jace, Architect Of Thought; Aurification; Collective Restraint; Blazing Archon; Ghostly Prison; Cards that make opponents better targets: Curse of Stalked Prey, Curse of Bloodletting Cards that opponents DONT want me to give them: Emberwilde Caliph; Illusions of Grandeur; Rust Elemental; Jinxed Idol; Jinxed Choker; Good multiplayer cards: Suture Priest; Auriok Champion; Mana-Charged Dragon; Basandra, Battle Seraph; Death By Dragons; Spurnmage Advocate; Vow of Lightning; Vow of Duty; Vow of Flight; Ways to help Zedruu give my stuff away: Bazaar Trader; Switcheroo; Scrambleverse(very fun when Zedruu isn't out yet); Goblin Cadets; Hunted Dragon; Hunted Lammasu; Hunted Phantasm; Vedalken Plotter; Contested War Zone; Miscelaneous fun/powerful cards for commander: Bomb Squad; Malingnus; Archangel of Strife; Brion Stoutarm; Insurrection; Master Warcraft(make one enemy attack another); Nin, The Pain Artist; Ways to get my stuff back if I need to: Chaos Warp; Homeward Path; Venser, The Sojourner; Ways to keep the extra cards Zedruu gives me: Venser's Journal; Spellbook; Tamiyo, The Moon Sage; Reliquary Tower; Library of Leng; Anvil of Bogardan; Graceful Adept; Im really happy with this deck, I spent a lot of time on it, but not that much money. I originally built the plan for this deck before I actually got the pre-built Political Puppets Commander deck, but was happy to find out how close I had been with most of my card choices(most of the differences are better in mine, I planned this with no real budget), so many of the cards were in both decks, making the cost of putting this deck together surprisingly low. This deck is really fun to play, though can be fairly challenging(lots of tough decisions). I definitely see this as an improvement over the pre-built deck, with more interaction and more cards of a political nature, as well as lots of cards that opponents don't want you to give them. If you're looking for a way to get into the commander format, buying the Political Puppets deck and upgrading it with some of these changes is a great way to do it! Please post with things you like and things you think I should change, anything you post I will read and reply back as soon as I see it. (either with why I wouldn't change it, asking why you think I should change it, or thanking you for a good suggestion)
