This is a red blue aggro artifact deck. During standard, some cards are begging for a deck to be made like this, so I thought I'll try. I had a budget to go on, so I played inexpensive cards while my friend, who's an expert, traded for the rares. At low, this deck can be Just under $25, but you'll be most likely to be spending $30-$50 because the majority of these cards will be lying around in your box of commons.
From starting play, play a few Ornithopters if possible, and use Traveler's Amulet to find any land you need; you're going to need it. Springleaf Drum can help you get that extra bit of mana you need once you don't need Ornithopters to defend you and spawn in creatures like Scuttling Doom Engine and Soul of New Phyrexia. In the beginning, have a Darksteel Citadel and maybe attach an Ensoul Artifact, so it may be possible to have a 5/5 with indestructible on the first two turns. If for some reason you can't find a Darksteel Citadel, Ornithopters' Flying ability with it should still do you some good. Attach an Aqueous Form to them and they become hard to deal with, and you can still try to get the land/creature/artifact you need. Summon in a Prophetic Flamespeaker after you kill your Generator Servants to give it haste, and with double strike can make it a hard creature to deal with, as whenever it does damage to a player, you exile the top card of your library, but play it if possible. Add in an Aqueous Form and it becomes even harder to stop. Play a Scuttling Doom Engine or a Soul of New Phyrexia by using those Springleaf Drums to your Ornithopters. New Phyrexia can give all your creatures indestructible in case of any bomb cards which are seen quite often in standard. Attack with Scuttling Doom Engine, and anything that has toughness 2 or less can only block you. And why not add a Shrapnel Blast if the opponent lands a Hero's Downfall, or maybe a Killshot or two? Might as well get 5 damage off him, and 11 damage if Scuttling Doom Engine lives, and by the time you play a Doom Engine the opponent is very likely to have 11 life counter or less from all them Darksteel Ensouls and Flamespeakers with Aqueous Form. Dispell should be used to counter any spells that might destroy your creatures if you don't have a Soul of New Phyrexia.
