Oh I see! Nice synergy!

Wow. Love the design. Not sure what the purpose of Nylea's Presence is other than cycling though the deck..... I love Wrap in Vigor so much, if I were you I would consider even putting it in the maindeck. Chameleon collosus as well is an excellent finisher for this deck and you might put one or two in the maindeck... I don't see many matchups in which they would be better than other matchups. I guess skylasher is in the deck to fight counterspells? It just has so little synergy with the deck though and it's not very strong on it's own. You might try something like Stubborn Denial, or maybe Eyes of the Wisent. Stubborn denial allows you to force through your really good cards that opponents will try to counter and Eyes of the Wisent just gives you a lot of value almost every time your opponent tries to use countermagic. Either could be great sideboard options, but I definitly would not put both in the sideboard if I were you. You should consider making Joraga Warcaller a 4-of. It's really powerful. And lastly you might try Joraga treespeaker in this deck over Llanowar elves. Llanowar is nice, but Joraga will be so good in this deck, and it's just better in almost every scenario. Keep on keeping on!
I don't mean to pester you... I'm not trying to tell you exactly how you should build this deck and that my suggestions are perfect. I was just tying to give advice how to make the deck more efficient, viable, and fun.
I mean sure, but even if it's a deck for fun, don't you want to make it the best deck it can be? Don't you want to try and improve on your design?
I'm very confused with this deck. You shouldn't have a need for swamps or mountains in this deck... it could be mono-green and you could pay for everything just fine. In fact, it would actually make the mana-base more useful and reliable. Secondly, your "stone-seeder hierophant" "seed the land" "Perilous forays" combo (at least I assume that's the combo) is not only slow to assemble, but it's kina... bad? You sac a creature to get a land so that you can get another creature to sac and your stone-seeder makes sure you have enough mana for this, but you'll never get more than when you started the combo. So I guess you get all of the lands out of your deck and untap and use them the next turn? Then I assume you banefire or diabolic tutor and then banefire? I mean it's a cool idea, but this is a 4-piece combo, which makes it extremely hard to get all the pieces for. Not only that, but all of the pieces you need to get out BEFORE you have tons of mana cost at least 4. So that means in the best-case scenario, you drop one piece on turn 3 (assumine you have a druid), one piece on turn 4, and one piece on turn 5 and get all your land. THEN by turn 6 you untap and banefire. This assumes that nobody broke your combo, not a single one of your cards was countered or taken by discard, that you have your 4 combo pieces, 4 lands, and 1 druid meaning that you need 9 exact cards, and that nobody killed you which is unlikely considering the fact that you've done nothing to stop, stall, or block. The chance that this happens is astronomically unlikely. I think it's cool that you made this combo, but even in tabletop non-compedative games it's just so difficult to get. I just want to tell you that I think you will barely every achieve this combo: the Quill-spike/devoted druid combo is so much better and I think you should focus the deck around that. Everything else is really pretty useless in my opinion. No offense, but it really won't ever happen.
I liked your etherium sculpter and your Dread Statuary in your first model of this deck. I know tricolor deck doesn't leave much room for colorless land in the manabase, but I think one or two Dread Statuarys could do you some good. Additionally, I would look at some fetch lands if I were you, they're super good. I feel that Platinum angel is only really good in this deck if you have a Xenograft, and vice versa, so I'd take out both of those cards completely. Vedalken Infuser I kind of don't like, but I see the synergy with titanforge. Thing is, if you don't have a titanforge out, vedalken infuser is basically worthless. I dunno, I'd take it out if I were you. Additionally, 4 darksteel Sentinals pushes your mana curve up a little, and in a aggressive format like modern, you need to be faster. It's okay to keep a couple in, but four of those plus platinum emprion plus platinum angel plus maul splicer plus Asceticsm is going to make it really rough for you early game and it will give your opponent ample time to setup and themselves. Silverskin Armor is probably my least favorite in the deck: making a creature an artifact gives almost no bonus to you, save rusted relic and Indomitable Archangel, and a large portion of your creatures are artifacts already or at least they create artifacts. 9/10 games it's just going to be a +1/+1 bonus. My last bit of advice is to take out contagion engine. Like Vedalken Infuser, it's pretty much only going to be used for titanforge. Yes, it can power down your opponent's team a couple times, but unlike Vedalken Infuser, Contagion Engine is extremely mana consumptive and again, it'll give your opponents all the time they need to either kill your, or set up an array of counterspells. In terms of things to add back in, I'd look at some counterspells if I were you. Stoic Rebuttal is nice, but it can really only be used well later when you have metalcraft. Spell pierce is nice, Remand, and Swan song. And I'm not saying all of these, but just that one or two of these choices might be nice. You might look for some removal like Pongify, Raprid Hybridization, Imprizoned in the Moon, Beast Within, Path to Exile, Immolating Glare, any of those really to hold off you opponent until you're ready to crush them.Lastly the Sideboard. It looks decent, but if I were you I'd bring Tempered Steel into the maindeck and I might switch out the Viral spicer for the Maul splicer in the maindeck. Not only is Vital splicer cheaper and faster, but it also helps your golems be resistant to removal that is ever-so present in modern. You might look at taking out golem foundry, and Inexorable tide: I see the combo with Titanforge and proliferate and golem foundry. If you want to have that, you need to have enough support in the deck for it, meaning at least 3 titanforge and 3 golem foundry maindeck, cheap proliferate cards, Vedalken infuser, and just more support for those cards. Otherwise they're often times going to be kinda bad. I would also take out Golem artisan, it's pretty mana-intensive.Sorry I wrote so much, I just really like this build and would love to see it get even better. Everything above is just advice, you do you. Keep on keeping on!
Great build! I'd love to see some graveyard hate in the sideboard. Also, I think it might be worth considering getting a mutagenic growth or two maindeck, especially for controlly decks that'l try to bolt your creatures. Vines is great for that, but with only 4 AND you have to leave up mana for it, I feel as though mutagenic growth would help aid this deck. Keep on keeping on!
You might try "Memnite" instead of "Delif's Cone"... Cone just has almost no usage unless you: 1. Have cranial plating to deal tons of damage 2. Need life really badly and 3. can't deal enough damage to kill but enough to keep you alive. Memnite can get some attacking and blocking in. Additionally you should look at "Stoic Rebuttal" (Technically you can use counterspell but the first one is more on flavor and it won't really change anything) and think about splashing red for "Galvanic Blast". It's a really useful card. There are tons of other cards for Affinity like "Arcbound Ravager" and "Mox Opal" but then this deck basically becomes the Affinity we all know and fear in the modern tier. I like your off-brand build.
Yeah, red could definitely be nice for flashback. I would advise either splashing one or the other color though, unless you just happen to have a bunch of nice duel lands. Duel lands are quite expensive (at least the competitive ones) and splashing 2 colors is much more difficult and expensive than splashing one color. But yeah, red or white could definitely be nice.
If this is a deck based on Talrand, you definitely want 4 Talrands, even if he IS a legendary creature. Also, if you were to replace Ponder and Counterspell, this would be a Modern-legal deck, which is cool. Good replacements include Preordain and serum visions, and for counterspells you can use mana leak, remand, and spell pierce. I love the use of Think Twice, you might consider some other blue flashback cards like Silent Departure (Super versatile, I highly advise), and maybe you splash some white just to get Saving Grasp flashback? If you did, you'd open the deck up for Path to Exile too, which is always nice. Just bouncing some ideas around. Keep on Keeping on!
Also, your strategy is 100% reliant on Assault Formation... in a good many of your games you won't run into Assault Formation until late. You may need to try and find a backup plan, or some way to tutor for Assault Formation.
Your curve is a little bit clunky... not much for turn one or two. You might want some more fabricate cards, and you definitely want a contingency plan against like an anger of the gods. Maybe splashing blue so you can counter those types of cards? They'll be your biggest downfall in this deck. Other than that, love the idea. Keep on keeping on!
It's mostly the black lotus'. They go for 6k+ so four of them is like 24k. Unfortunately, they also make the deck illegal in every format... but it's still heckin' cool!
Definitely a cool deck. You might consider a card to give creatures double strike in order to get maximum value, especially considering they die in one turn. Barring Worldspine, you currently need to resolve three big creatures and have them go unblocked. And then of course, there is Countermagic, Path to exile, ect. You might also want some Blossoming Defenses and Guttural Responses to deal with countermagic and removal. I mean when this deck goes right, it gets explosive. But you might want some cards to minimize loss for when things don't go right. And I just want to say lastly that I love the combo with Elderscale and it dying to give you tokens.
Tower's Defense is probably a better sideboard card, Boundless Realms probably isn't a great choice, seeing as you get most of your mana from creatures, and Eldritch Evolution is also not a great choice because none of your defender creatures can get a biggie via Evolution and the only big creature that can find a bigger creature is Worldspine->Emrakul. Sure, that would be a good combo, but it's rare enough that it makes Eldritch Evolution a really bad card to put in just for that. Also, I might suggest a Fauna Shaman or two. And you might want to start up a sideboard, maybe get some Chokes, Pithing Needles, Graffdigger's Cages.... and really at this point anything is better than an empty sideboard.
Spicy. I fair to understand why Gilded Drake and Manriki-Gusari are in the sideboard. The drake seems a little pointless and the Manriki-Gusari seems extremely conditional; there are like, no legacy decks that run based on equipment, or even that have imporant equipment at all for that matter. Also, Chalice doesn't seem like a maindeck card to me. If you were only running Cursecatcher as a one-drop that might be alright, but with aether vial you have your curve set up so that the only thing you can safely hit without sideboarding first is 0. It might be still be good... but maybe not, hence a sideboard card.
I like the edits you made. As it happens, a sideboard is legally allowed to have up to 15 cards in it, so why not add another 7, right? If I were to make a suggestion for the sideboard it would definitely be Rest in Peace.
I might add that I don't totally agree with the lands philosophy here. 19 lands can actually be good, maybe this deck needs more, but I don't think it necessarily needs 24. I find 22 is often a good place to rest at, and when you have a really fast deck you can often go to 20 or 18, that's what I do for some of my best decks. Just... don't feel too confined when deciding land proportion.
Wow. That's an awesome deck. I would love to see some a sideboard for a beauty like this.
awesome deck idea. Not entirely sure what the point of Ornithopter is... maybe you could elaborate upon that in the description? Also, your deck can be very susceptible to mass removal such as Anger of the Gods and Pyroclasm. You might consider splashing blue for a hint of countermagic? I know Brave the Elements can save your team, but 2 cards in a 60 card deck will not be reliable. I strongly suggest planning accordingly
