{{THIS IS NOT THE REAL MANABASE, I DIDNT HAVE THAT TO HAND, ITS JUT REPRESENTS THE AMOUNT OF LAND I WANT TO RUN IN THE DECK}}So the gamble of the deck is to try and cast spells that are low on one side and high on the other. With the new spilt card rule when I cast any of them for the cheap side, the can cascade into something MASSIV OR only have artefact ramp at 2cmc so when I cast a one mana half or a 3cmc split card I can be up on mana and card advantage. This deck is very much a work in progress and also I don't own all of these split cards, I just shoved all the ones that existed into the deck. Creatures that chain into mana or spells would be good, or creatures that draw cards would also be fantastic, as long as they are 3 cmc or less! Lots of refining to do here.
This deck revolves almost entirely around Yidris, with a little bit of wheeling thrown in. So keeping Yidris alive is really important, so id only cast him if you have one of your protection artefacts in play. After Yidris connects with someone try and either chain into something MASSIVE late game, or Ramp yourself by casting a 3cmc split card early game or earlier in the turn, then into a bigger split card. This will get you hated on as you have to attack to turn on Yidris and then you cast high impact spells early.Pick your targets well, forge your alliances well, then spin the well with card shark gambler Yidris. 8) ((need to add more wheel creatures, and cheap draw artefacts?))

Man! I'm so glad I wondered over here to check out what you were brewing after you gave my deck, 'From Beyond' some love. First off: Wow!!! Holy Crap you have a sh*t-ton of decks! Number two: I gravitated towards this Yidres deck of yours because I too have dabbled in the four-armed Ogre Wizard. And lastly, this is quite a unique build of Yidres you have on your hands here! It's quite refreshing actually! My build of Yidres was all about chaining together wheel effect spells, peppered in with Cascade spells, and an Aetherflux Resevoir value engine involving Paradox Engine and Sensais Diving Top. The strategy was to basically cast as many spells as I could. So it basically became a Storm deck. Warning: I would not recommend this build unless the collective groans of your playgroup is music to your ears as you take 10 minute long turns.
