No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Beginner's Attempt at a spell-centric deck from the cards I own.

I'm sure there are lots of ways to improve it...

Deck discussion for necro__1

First deck. Overall noob. Trying a spell/artifact/vamp combo with the few cards I own. All constructive corrections accepted.

first of all, really good for your first try at a constructed (casual i'm guessing? who needs tournies :P) deck. the first deck building rule i learned is try and keep up consistency by putting in your deck what is known as 4-of's. for example, if you want to make a vampire deck, to consistently hit good vampires like lacerator or nighthawk you would put in your deck 4 of each of those cards. this will make your deck streamlined and competitive. my second piece of advice is study the deck you want to make (look up other people's card lists) and learn which cards are good and which cards dont add to the overall synergy. for example, i would rather run pulse tracker rather than barony vampire in a deck. why? well, even though barony vampire has more power/toughness, the pulse tracker comes down two turns earlier because of it's lower converted mana cost (cc), and it can affect the field a lot more than a vanilla (no-ability) creature like barony vampire with it's ability to make your opponent lose life.

those are some beginning tips, but the best piece of advice is just play the game. you'll catch on soon enough which strategies are better, and your gameplay will improve. this translates into good deckbuilding, which makes you a better player.

hope this helps. cheers!
