The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck discussion for Black Sacrifice

Not bad for how vomit-inducing slow standard is recently =]

(I get royalties to this deck though =P )

Oh, and lose the Seers and get yourself some Bloodghasts if you can.

I'd suggest popping out Death Cultist for Reassembling Skeleton, and maybe Inquisition for Duress.
Also, maybe axe the Demon for Butcher of Malakir, since Grave pact isn't standard.

What Inquisition is better than duress, all ur doing anyway is looking for counter spells and bolts, so it helps

Perhaps it's the old school magic that makes me like duress better, we play with a LOT of old broken artifacts. Do you know how amazing it is to knock a Mycosynth Golem from somebodys hand, and the hit it with Extirpate?

Good point not doubting it is better in legacy but this is a T2 deck and inquisition I have found is better in that format

Guess it does make sense for the format, and probably meta.

I've never liked Reassembling Skelly. To me he seems more useful for control-based sacrifice decks where as Bloodghast is obviously for more aggro sacrifice decks.

Probably the reason I like him, my real sac decks are all control. However I've been looking into making an aggro build, they've seem to discovered the weakness to control sac(kill it turn two-three)

Oh, and since this is a black sacrifice deck, it is naturally very fast. Thus you don't need 21 lands. Hell, you'd be fine with 18 I think, but if that's too far from your comfort zone, shoot for 20. Then my other suggestions is to lose the Disfigures and get yourself some Grasp of Darkness. Then look into adding some Bloodthrone Vampire(s) and maybe also some Cadaver Imps for flying defense (even though DoDG will help out in that department).

My final thought is that maybe this is a bit too "stuffed" full of spells. If I were to make this deck, I'd just go all-out psychotic aggro and swing for the fences.

...Maybe I should see how I could make a standard version of my deck...*Sigh* god damn I hate standard...

Yup. You don't need all of that lands. Put 18 and you will be running a much better game. Consider about reassembling skeleteon.

Absolutely bloodghast! Also you might want to consider dark ritual… It'll speed things up a lot! Check out mine http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=132603
