take out x4 canopy claws add firespout its much more efficient. drop kessig cagebreakers and go up to 4 huntsmasters and then add some young wolf or reckless waif for your one drop creatures. than take out trepanation blade and add sword of fire and ice since you dont have much removal or card draw

its called self mill not "self mill as a win con" there were self mill decks before lab maniac came out and they dont use the actuall milling as a win con they use it as a function to get an advantage. but thanks for the comment if self mill decks could only win with lab maniac they would be even worse than the already are. but thanks for the comment :)

hey very cool deck ive made guite a few of these decks, heres what i would do take out 4x holy day and add 4x orim's chant take out dark ritual its really only good in mono black and add 3-4x hide/seek, take out 4x victim of the night because its double black and replace it with doob blade or somthin more effective, take out all 3 distress and add 4x thoughtseize the one mana makes a HUGE differance playing thoughtseize onn turn one is devastating but just remember it dosnt work with the scepter since its not an instant, also take out geths verdict because of the double black and add diabolic eddict does the samething and is an instant and isnt double black also add 2x luminarch ascension. take out obliterator and sheoldered and dark confidant x4 take out phyrexian crusader and add wall of omens also check out my most recent deck http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=311893

any sideboard or main deck suggestions are cool by me

doran is legendary and murmiuring bosk makes no sense with only 4 treefolks and you should have less treefolks anyway and loam lion isint that good in this deck because your not running the ravnica lands or the original dual lands

its a fun card but its pretty terrible in legacy and has bad synergy with dark confidant

most of the cards in legacy are in the 1-2 range, also this isnt a great matchup vs red but once a chill hits the board its good game. and this is a community deck so not everything is under my control. I am very stuck between counterspell and mana leak on one hand being able to play some form of counterspell on t2 is really important, and the counterspells early game are the most important. On the other hand counterpsell is just flatout better playing counterspell in a 3 color deck is a bit sketchy. Do you have any sideboard suggestions?

your complety right this isn't really supposed to be a tier one deck just an idea i liked when i first saw hellrider. If i was to really try and make it competitive i would switch it around a bit. Thanks alot though
