The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

A modern deck made to play the whole library and swing for the win on turn three. Well, 3.5.
Turn 1 play Stomping Ground or City of Brass to cast Mass Hysteria or Amulet of Vigor. Turn 2 cast Hedron Crab or Shriekhorn with Birds of Paradise or just Wild Cantour, followed by playing a bounce land in return for another land. As soon as you drop the land, you mill yourself 2 or 3 cards in hope of putting a Primal Surge into the graveyard. Turn 3 play the previous land, mill yourself another 2 or 3 cards if the Surge isnt in the graveyard, and use your resources to cast Living Lore. As he's cast, exile the Surge, attack for 10 damage, and when you do damage to the opponent, sac him to cast Primal Surge.The world is your oyster after that, as all creatures (and everything else in your library) will be instantly put onto the battlefield with haste. You won't lose due to Platinum Angel and the other opponents will be picked off easily thanks to Fumiko. In case you stumble upon another Surge and the previous one loses momentum, you will probably have an Omniscience out by then then, which means you just cast the next one and repeat. Anything else in your graveyard will automaticly be reshuffled back into the library by the time you cast the last of them, so no worries there. Safe to say, your opponents will have a time trying to fix their problem.

The concept is good, and so is the utilization of living lore. However, the deck itself was very inconsistent when I tested it.Nonetheless, great job and keep up the work as I would like to see more rogue decks come from the brilliant mind of yours. :D

Thank you so much for that complement.
With my luck, the very first card on top of my deck as I cast Primal Surge would be another Primal Surge. With other people's luck... well, maybe you still need quite a bit of luck to have the correct cards in your opening hand to actually do all this by turn 3, so what's plan B? ^__^;
That's what I said first. >DAnyways, thanks for mentioning the problems with my deck(rulings-wise).
We sort of commented simultaneously :-D
Thanks for the feedback from both of you. I really only threw this deck together out of a whim. The only decks I really put care into (and play) are my style deck, Alpha One, Samurai Showdown, and the Spellslinger. Others are just whims. But I like to improve where I can and you are correct about it having unreliability. I could take out the frivolous biggies for cards that serve the functions of other nessessary cogs. I feel as long as you have Living Lore in the opening hand, the rest is fairly safe. I put only 3 surges for the reasons you mentioned and 4 omniciences to make sure one is played before another surge.
Believe me when I say that I tried to find a good way to "discard" a card in time before turn 3, but there wasn't an efficient way. I even originally planned on waiting a turn and discarding that way, but you can't play a bounce land in time that way. Any suggestions?
Pretty interesting deck you have here. I figure you need extra card draw, so maybe a Howling Mine or 2? Or maybe Wall of Blossoms. Not only does it give you extra card draw, but it helps block for you until you can combo off.
Thank you for the complement. :) Although I thoroughly agree with your suggestion, i want to avoid drawing more than nessessary to prevent grabbing a Primal Surge. If anything, I'd toss in something that would prevent the opponent from blocking Lore so that i don't stall the game. It's made to be probable, but the deck's a glass cannon at heart.
It isn't a turn 3, though. If you attack with the Living Lore, then your combat phase is used up, and you'll have to wait till the next turn. Also, why do you have 2 platinum angels, and not just one? You don't even really need any, as you can stop repeating Primal Surge anytime you want, so if you just leave a couple cards in your library, you'll be fine.
I didn't really have anything better to play than another Platinum Angel, but if there's anything better, I'm up for suggestions. As for turn 3, although it's not as probable as I usually like, it can definitely happen. There's ramp to get it out early and Mass Hysteria to give it haste. When it attacks, unless the damage is prevented, it will be able to cast Primal Surge right away, whether or not it's blocked. Definitely possible on turn 3.
No, I mean you can't win by third turn because you've already used up the attack with living lore.
Ah, I see what you meant. The turn immediately after (with Emrakul) is almost guaranteed though. That's why I corrected myself in a way in the description. It's like a turn 3.5 lol Semantics
